Cap, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Sentry, Spider-Woman, Luke Cage and mystery guy are plenty. Any more and you start to lose focus and it gets confusing for the readers and writer.

Not Ms. Marvel (or whatever) right now. There's too much recent history between the Avengers and her drinking problem. CA would never let her return without bonafide proof that she's beaten the bottle.
Not Daredevil. I'm sure that a lot of people look forward to it, and I don't dislike him, but why? Just to say he was an Avenger for a few issues? He and Spiderman work best as loners, and I'll wager neither one lasts.

With Spidey being the current soul and sunshine of NA i dont see him leaving anytime soon , to my great pleasure :D .

As for Carol i believe it was in V3 , she had troubles dealing with her loss of powers so got into alcohol . She ended being kicked out of the avengers once Tony Stark realized her problems and after a few mistakes .

My secret wish is wanda getting avengers membership back at the end of HoM but its quite unlikely , well at least for a long while .

Or if songbird is indeed leaving Thunderbolts as i believe , why not her ?

Spidey is one of the MUs more social heroes anyway, he's only a loner when he's written "gritty".
Songbird may be leaving but not before Kilgrave gets done with them, and her specifically.

Um, she did beat the bottle, and Captain America did agree to her return in the last volume of Avengers. This storyline has been resolved for about three or four years.

That being said, I think Carol should join the team.

Considering the premise of New Avengers, I think Storm would also be a good choice. She's definitely more recognizable and popular than Luke, Jessica, or the Sentry.

Thing (Fantastic Four)- recognizable character with a tremendous and upcoming solo book. Could join for a while after a dispute with the F4.

Storm- Most recognizable Marvel woman.

Phoenix- My favorite Marvel one. She's dead- but you could always say she came from the future. She's also not on the X-Men.

The Incredible Hulk- Because of his friendship with the Sentry, and raw power. This could also boost Incredible Hulk sales.

Hawkeye- It's only a matter of time.

And i'm glad they aint , as a former hater of Cage (well not really a hater , i just didnt care about the guy before alias and couldnt stand his silly costume) .

Anyway it took long enough to Cage to step out from Iron fist's shadows , and not seems like his sidekick , so i say leave Cage alone a bit longer .

That would work... if Cage had been Iron Fists sidekick at any point in time, instead of it being the other way around, which it was. :D
