View Full Version : Are Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee still going to follow-up on "Hush" later, or what?

I've lost track. Ever since the last issue of "Hush" came out, back around fall of '03, there have been occasional rumors that Loeb "promised" that he and Lee would collaborate on a 6-part follow-up arc that would try to make sense of the 12-part "Hush" and tie up some of the loose ends. Someday.
Then there have also been rumors to the effect that by now he's so busy with other projects that he's pretty much lost interest in resolving any of the gaping plot holes and dangling loose ends from "Hush", and presumably doesn't really care at this point about any arbitrary changes made in "Gotham Knights" by Lieberman regarding the personality, motivations, and secret identity of the bandaged villainous figure sometimes known as Hush.
Does anyone know for sure what Loeb's current intentions are regarding a possible Hush sequel?
I haven't heard anything from Loeb. I doubt if it happens it will be related to Hush. Lieberman is doing stuff with Hush in Gotham Knights. Jim Lee will be teaming up with Frank Miller to do Batman All Stars. I think it's comming out in a few months.

Mia, what I remember hearing was that Lee and Loeb were eventually going to do another Batman arc, but I don't think it was going to have anything to do with Hush.
I think they've both pretty moved on to other things, though, and Lieberman seems to have been given pretty much free reign with Hush.

They were going to do Hush II and awnser some questions like the Catwoman thing... but Loeb was rumored to be going to Marvel i think. I guess thats why Lee is with Miller now

Loeb's not going exclusive to Marvel. He's set to do a new SUPERGIRL series with Ian Churchill (later this year I believe).

Hadn't heard about SG. Any word on who she'll be? Spin off of SUPERMAN/BATMAN perhaps?

Eh? It's on the Supergirl from Superman/Batman, Kara Zor-el II (or III depending on how you manage it) and Supergirl VII by my figuring. Maybe as low as V. She's also getting a one-off in S/B later on.

I'm sick of Loeb doing "Batman", every villain always has to show up and if Batman would use his head instead of waiting for things to happen we'd have a 6 issue arc instead of 12.
Loebs Batman in Superman/Batman is pretty hardcore, but its easy when you have Superman to do some badass stuff as well, it also helps if your in love with the Big Blue Boyscout...dont it Loeb??;)
and speaking of the new "Hush" book aka Gotham Knights, whatever happened to that supercool costume that JIM LEE designed??? Is his stuff too mediocre to use er what?!?
