Probably, I don't think they'll leave ANYONE out, I think they'll ADD people. So far its just those three, but I wouldn't be surprised if they create MORE.
Zasalamel (sp?), the black dude with the sickle, I predict he will be my new favorite. :D My current favorite is, of course, Kalik. I can kick butt with Kalik.
And did you notice they were playing a remixed version of Mitsurugi's theme from the first Soulcalibur? REALLY can't wait till the soundtrack comes out.

If you watch the movie the producer says they will have a create your own character feature! Flippin' brilliant. I can't wait.
My only gripe with II was that the single-player adventure mode got a little old after a while. If they expand on that then I can see this game being an instant classic.
Please PLEASE say it's going to be abailable on GC ...

You don't get it, having it on all three consoles and having three exclusive characters on each system made Soul Caliber 2 great.

I only ever tried 2 on my GC, it's kind of a bummer you can't have epic fights cross-platform to see who got the most badass character though lol. I heard Spawn is like mega-damage, Heihachi is beastly up close and Link is a great all-rounder. Well I can say from playing GC that he is, but whatever. I wish more of my friends played Soul Cal.

No, it was the graphics and game play that made the game great. The Console exclusive characters were just add ons.
Anyways, Ive seen pics on another board, and thusfar confirmed chars are...
Siegfried
Raphel (Who was the winner of the last game)
Astaroth
Ivy
Voldo
Sophitia
The three new guys
Dante
Plus there's going to be a create a character mode.

SuperSaiyaMan12: What lawsuit?
Sony stole technology from Immersion Tech for their dual shock controller, and had a 90.7 million dollar loss in the law suit. Also, if their appeal isn't passed, Playstations and Playstation 2's will not be made anymore and also they can't sell them anymore. This will affect the PS3 and PSP in a big way, probably the PS3(which was suppose to be revealed today, well the prototype) might not even be made because of this.

Dont know about Killik, have to wait until the full roster is revealed. As far as I know they dont even have an offical website for this thing yet.
As for the lawsuit. It wont do too much damage to Sony or the PS2. Hell the only reason that they dont buy out the piss ant little company thats suing them and tear it to shreads is because the public eye is on them. Plus the fact they can hire a legal team to crush the competitions with money they clean out of their trousers.
Nate Grey
03-30-2005, 08:25 PM
I'm confused...Sony is putting out a game (when they're done making it) by the same company sueing them? Is this suit what's keeping SC3 from being on all platforms at the moment?

So because Sony lost 90.3 mil (nothing to them) and probably the right to use the dual shock technology, there'll be no PS3?
Here's your dunce cap, wear it with pride.
The worst tat'll happen is the PS3 controllers won't have a vibration function. No great loss really, it never really added much to the experience.

Here's an article (http://news.com.com/Sony+to+challenge+block+on+PS2+sales/2100-1047_3-5641924.html) on it.
The judge ordered Sony to stop selling infringing Playstations in the US, and made a similar order on 47 games that used the vibrating function. Sony is, of course, appealing the injunction, which isn't in effect yet.
This won't do jack to stop the PS3, though. It just won't come with vibrating controls.

It's up in the air as to whether or not Sony "stole" anything... and Microsoft was also part of that suit, but settled rather than fight it.
Considering that the vibration tech of modern controllers essentially involves spinning a weight around a basic motor, it's not exactly hard to imagine that this is a case of design convergence, but Immersion had the patent, so Sony lost their suit.
HOWEVER, while the whole thing spends years in the appeal process, Sony is still allowed to continue selling their consoles. And as for the next gen of consoles, the idea that it would actually stop the release of the PS3... well, that's just retarded. I mean really, they're going to give up hundreds of millions in revenue over this? Not bloody likely... they'll just figure out another method of feedback, or cut a deal with Immersion, or go without feedback at all... it's hardly a deal-breaking feature of consoles.
I'm really into the SC franchise, it's my favorite fighter... but the lack of online multiplayer here is really killing this for me. Fighting games are really only fun when played with other people, and my group of local friends who enjoy fighters is too small to make this a good investment. Perhaps the XBox version will have Live multiplayer, but without some sort of method by which I can play in a social sense, I can't see buying this game.
That create-a-character mode is awesome, too... but not half so awesome as it might be if I COULD SHOW MY CHARACTER TO OTHER PEOPLE!!

Well, best I can tell SuperSayanMan is saying that Namco shouldn't be exclusive to the Ps2 since Sony will be hurting and their next system will suck without the tech in question. However what he doesn't realize is Sony has tons and tons of money and even if they can't use the specific patented tech, they'll easily find a way around it. Probably either a lisensing agreement with the other company, not incorperate it at all (doubful), or make it different enough so it doesn;t violate the patent but similiar enough that it'll fullfill whatever that tech did.
So in summary, saying this lawsuit will greatly hurt the PS2/3 is pretty stupid and even if Sony ends up loosing completely (monetary damages and an injuction) it is doubtful that the PS2/3 will be hurt in any way.

What I don't get is how not being able to have controlers vibrate will prevent the sale of PS2/PS3 (well, according to SuperSaiyanMan). Just re-package them with PS1 controllers or something.

I thought the PS2 exclusivity was an odd move as well; the Gamecube/Xbox sales combined were over 1,000,000 units, whereas the PS2 alone sold around 700,000. Unless Sony is ponying up some serious cash, Namco's cutting themselves out of more than half of their potential sales.
The downside to all this is that if we DO see Xbox/Gamecube versions of SC3, they likely won't be up to snuff graphically since it's being initially devved on the PS2.

I'm sure we'll see SC3 for the other consoles eventually. (I wonder what the exclusive characters will be? Maybe Samus for Gamecube, for Xbox . . . I dunno . . . Master Chief maybe?) I doubt Namco just decided to be PS2 exclusive, they obviously made some sort of deal with Sony, sort of like the deal Capcom made with Nintendo to make RE4 a Gamecube exclusive.
And oh yeah, by your math that means PS2 sold less copis than GC and Xbox together, but more than either one by itself. If they were gonna go console exclusive, PS2 is obviously the one to pick.
Urusai Wrangler

Yeah, it's good business sense to stick with the PS2 first off, but doesn't seem as wise to limit it to one platform unless Sony's shelling out.
Donald M.
04-04-2005, 03:38 AM
But then again, Namco's never had any problem keeping Tekken Playstation exclusive, and Soul Blade and the first Soul Calibur were also exclusive to the consoles they were released to (PSX and Dreamcast) so Soul Calibur II was the exception.
Could be that for whatever reason Namco is just returning to past form with SC III.
Could be they don't care about the sales they'll lose by keeping the game PS2 exclusive.
If that's the case then I feel kind of bad foe Xbox and Gamecube owners, but I own a PS2 so :p .

So...they're saying SC4 and above will be on the next gen systems? They have no way of knowing how well the next gen systems will sell as opposed to the one currenlty on the market, and while it MAY be true that more people have a PS2 than the other systems (XBox has to at least be a close second), the PS3 is right around the corner and people will wonder why not develop for that, even if it is backwards compatable.

If you're referring to one of EB's uninformed, rumormongering, bandwagon-mentality shop clerks, then it probably wasn't the horse's MOUTH you heard it from. When a respectable news source reports this, then I'll believe it, but in the short term, Sony's lawsuit situation still allows them to sell existing PS2 units while they settle their dispute.

If you compare these three with the previous new characters from SC (Asta, Ivy, NM, X, Kilik, Maxi) and SC2 (Cassie, Raph, Talim, Yunsung), you can really see how mediocre this group is.That was actually something I hadn't thought to do in my head. Siegfried wasnt repentant till recently. In the first game he was an insane butcher who went mad after killing his own father. And in the second game he became Nightmare.
He realized his mistakes by SC2, but that didnt stop him from killing people and letting Soul Edge possess him again.
Anyways, what I mean by heroes is that the character who's ending is canon, IE Siegfried and Raphel.

What I didn't like about Soul Blade 2 and 3 (soul caliber 1 and 2), is the stupid american accents for every charecter. In the first game it added something with (most of the charecters, the European charecters all spoke English) the charecters speaking in their native tougues

Personally, I'm going to pass. Soul Calibur 2 is fun and all, but the Weapon Master mode was so lame. I guess I shouldn't judge it by the standards that SC1 set, but it really seemed like Namco didn't try with SC2. Not to mention the NA release got shafted hardcore (No Hwang Sung Kyung or Rock for the silly Americans!). Like SC1, I expected SC2 to just blow every other 3D fighter out of the water, graphically and gameplay-wise. It didn't, it wasn't even close to the quality of, say, Tekken Tag or Tekken 4 (which were both inferior to Virtua Fighter 4, in my opinion). It looked pretty good, but the characters didn't look right and the hair effects were sub-par, to say the least. Not to mention that Extra mode meant the game couldn't be played seriously (Seung Mina and Mitsurugi have some of the most broken weapons ever). And of course, there was the balance issues with Ivy (who could violate, easily, every character on the roster).
SC3 just looks like more of the same, to me. Zasalamel probably won't play substantially different enough from Rock or Astaroth to warrant my interest, though Dante might provide an interesting mix (there's never been a broadsword user in Soul Calibur, ironically), if they don't make his sword overly large and make him fight more like Nightmare. My issue is that the game is running on the Soul Calibur 2 engine, for no reason at all. They have the Tekken 5 engine, which is just stunning graphically and capable of really, really good backgrounds (something SC2 was lacking), and I just can't fathom why they'd use a 2 year old engine when half the point of fighting games is looking good.

That's true the, the Edge (Weapon) Master mode was annoying, maily because you can go through the whole thing with your favourite charecter, and didn't really have to bother with the 1s that annoyed you or you didn't like. I haven't played much of Soul Blade 2 (Caliber 1) but one of the things that makes me pick up Soul Blade 1 is the edge master mode. Also Soul Blade seemed more tactical because of the weapon strength bar. Anyone know if they'll be bringing that back for Soul Blade 4. Also sometimes, although a strenght, the speed of the bouts was frustrating, sometimes they'd be over in a flash and it's so deflating
I thought Siegfried covered the broadsword area, but i'm probably wrong. Whatever you can make your own charecters in game so yaaaa.
If being "right" includes looking like diarrhea in a Dixie cup, then by all means.
Anyone willing to write off Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast or SC3 on the Cube/Xbox as 'not right' has got the fanboy pants pulled up way too high.
First off you spelt diarrhoea wrong. 2nd what the hell is a dixie cup, and what looked like diarrhoea in said cup. I know Soul Blade 3 was on PS2, but it was also faffing around on other consoles. And it had a stint with the Dreamcast (at the time it couldn't have been a Sony release, the PlayStation couldn't handle it, and the PS2 wans't about). When i did play it on other consoles the controls weren#t natural and smooth like on the PS2
Finally, it may be a good thing for Sony that they can't produce the Dual Shock controllers anymore, the should also be looking out for getting sued by the millions who may suffer muscle/ nerve damage because of it. And the Dual Shocks a bit dated. It was suggested in a magazine (Official Playstation 2 magazine UK) that the PS3 should consider using the Dual Shock for locating enemies, like it vibrates in the section where an enemy is, or something like that.

They have the Tekken 5 engine, which is just stunning graphically and capable of really, really good backgrounds (something SC2 was lacking), and I just can't fathom why they'd use a 2 year old engine when half the point of fighting games is looking good.I much prefer Soul Calibur, gameplay-wise, over Tekken. OTOH, it's more fun watching replays in Tekken 'cause you get to see the opponent jerk backward and fall contorting to the ground in slow motion :p SC's replays cut off too quickly, and the chars don't contort quite as entertainingly on the ground :p
SC3's new chars look kinda out of place, but oh well. We'll see what it's worth.

I got one question to ask. Okay now on the Playstation 2 game of Soul Calibur 2 Heihachi was on the console, which is a Tekken game which I believe is made by Namco, so I understand why he would be a playable character. Nintendo has Link for Soul Calibur 2, which I can also understand since Link is a Nintendo character. X-Box had Spawn, and perhaps they did some dealing with Todd MacFarlane since he also created Necrid, so I could understand why he would be a playable character on it.
My question is, is why is Dante a Capcom character going to be playable on a Namco game? I'm not saying it won't happen, I just don't understand it. Sony could have Kratos in the game or choose another Namco character, but I have a feeling that they will be spending more money making Dante a playable character on their game, but not that they couldn't easily make it back, because Dante is an extremely popular character.
Also SuperSaiyaMan12 gaming companies tend to go through lawsuits all the time. Nintendo did back in the earlier years with Donkey Kong and Universal Stuidos, and while Nintendo won the suit, that doesn't mean that Sony can't get through thier suit.

.
Simple Capcom made a deal with Namco . See they borrowed Namco's SC engine for a stage in DMC3 and in return Namco gets to use Dante in a game .Since Capcom is used to whoring out Dante anyway they agreed. Also out of this deal we got NamcoXCapcom hopefully coming to the states as well as Japan.

It's because the original Soul Blade was the basis for the later games, so in keeping with the continuity (and educating people who don't know about Soul Blade) I like calling it that. I also think that Soul Blade (called SoulEdge in arcades and in some parts of the world) is the best version in the series, it might not be as broad and long as the later games, but i still put that in my console over Soul Caliber
Speaking of which, does anyone know how to get all the costumes and weapons, I've brought everything in the shop in Weapon Master, but i'm still missing a few stuff. Do I have to go into dungeons with that charecter or something

Ivy and Voldo's new costumes look nice.
Cassandra's got Chun-Li legs now :p Pity, not my taste TBH...
Astaroth's looking a bit odd... check out them boot spikes, though
Raphael's starting to look a bit like Cervantes O.o
Siegfried and Kilik are looking very manly ^_^ I like how Siegfried's wielding the Requiem.
Talim... dear God, she looks like a crush I had a few years back o_o Needless to say, stunning.

Is it POSSIBLE one of the reasons it coming out to PS2 exclusively is that Namco is under time constraints? Three new characters and character creation, while nice, doesn't seem, I dunno, enough for a Soul Calibur game.
Remember when Resident Evil: Code Veronica was exclusive to the Dreamcast? Well, if you think about it, it still is. :) Resident Evil: Code Veronica X is what's popped up on the other systems. Same game (as far as I know) but that X makes it a new game in the most technical sense.
I say that's what's gonna happen to Soul Calibur 3. While the PS2 version is out and getting fame, they producers will still be working on it, adding more characters and online play, and THAT'S the version that will pop up PS3 and XBox360. Soul Calibure 3 Online or something extra in the title so that Soul Calibur 3 will still, technically, be exclusive to the PS2.
Or maybe we'll just see Soul Calibur 4.

you heard wrong.
you choose a character job, and from those jobs you can choose different weapons and styles. some of those styles look like ones that existing SC characters use but some of them are completely new. Your custom character pretty much starts off as a blank slate appearance-wise and you can mix different clothes together to come up with your look, which will affect your characters personality

Found a story guide on GameFAQs.com, and it cleared a lot of things up. Like how Ivy's on a suicide mission to destroy everything related to the Soul Edge and eventually herself and her own sword (since she is related to the Soul Edge via Cervantes).
Apparently, Xianghua won, beating Nightmare and Inferno using the Soul Calibur (her own sword's true form). When she did, the Soul Edge shattered, and both the main part of the Soul Edge and the Soul Calibur got sucked into the Void. Xianghua returned home, thinking she beat the damn thing permanently.
Apparently, the damn thing was still alive, and the combined Soul Edge/Soul Calibur became the new Soul Edge, and is seeking its lost fragments. Queue SC2 and SC3

HAHAHA Oh man that's great.
Yeah CG art in most cases always looks kinda "dead" because the skin's way too smooth. And in Namco's case, the eyelashes aren't rendered, they're just a texture sketched in around the eyes. It's not as bad as, say, Dead or Alive's art - where they're intended to be doll-like I guess - but a few steps short of realism.
In the new sexy Talim's case, my guess is because they tried to meld anime eye proportions into a "realistic" portrait :D

Orcadan is the random character (like Charade). He’s a warrior who was cursed and turned into an owl man when fighting the gods. His alternate costume loses doesn’t have the owl head. He only mimics regular characters, not bonus or CAS characters.
And apparently, Raphael's adopted daughter Amy is one of the bonus characters.

From Gamespot: (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/soulcaliburiii/factsheet_6132377.html)
"PRESS RELEASE -- This text is not created or endorsed by GameSpot.
Santa Clara, CA - September 1, 2005 – Leading video games developer and publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today a retail pre-order program for its upcoming fighting game, SOULCALIBUR III. Starting this month, consumers in the United States and Canada can pay $5 at Electronics Boutique, GameStop and GameCrazy stores to pre-order SOULCALIBUR III and receive a custom t-shirt when they pick up the game. Each retailer will have its own exclusive shirt design, featuring artwork of new and classic characters. Fans who pre-order SOULCALIBUR III at Electronics Boutique will receive a shirt featuring Nightmare, Tira and Zasalamel; gamers who reserve their copy at GameStop will receive a shirt featuring Ivy, Kilik and Astaroth; and those who pre-order at GameCrazy will obtain a shirt featuring Mitsurugi and Setsuka. SOULCALIBUR III will be available exclusively for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and ship on October 25."
What the heck's GameCrazy?
Anyway, I already have an Ivy shirt from my preorder of Soul Calibur 2, so I'll avoid that one...torn between Kilik and Zasalamel.
EDIT: Wait, I think I read that room: its one shirt featuring all three characters, not a character per shirt. Hm...Kilik and co. it is, then.

Theres alot more behind the scenes mechanics involved in SC than the MK. The system is wayyyy deeper. Even the deep 2d fighters have lag.
It isnt about graphics, but about info passed along between the units. Its a wierd thing to grasp until you get into the game system and you can see why especially the hardcore crowd would notice and be vocal about it. SC and VF have alot of differeing states based on position, hit properties, move priority etc etc. One link in the chain dissapears thru lag and the game is toast.
MK and DoA while fun dont have as deep a system. Less info to potentially drop, makes it easier to do true online. Things like this especialy with an arcade scene demand an accurate translation to home system. You cant guarantee that accurate to arcade/home experience online yet. So since it cant be done as well as offline their not doing it at all.

Whee, costume pictures are out ^_^ Dial-up users beware...
http://www.soulcalibur3.us/soulcalibur3/costumes/
Tira's 2p is somewhat less silly than her 1p.
Setsuka's 2p looks like a cross between Jeannie and Callisto.
Is that a hammerhead on Astaroth's forehead?
Yay, Cassandra's 2p is styled like her 2p from SCII ^_^ Though, now it's red. And the hairdo makes her look like Helena from DOA...
Kilik's 2p looks familiar somehow...
Lizardman looks freakier than before.
Mina's smokin' in her 1p. Her 2p pants look like somebody was making a skirt in two halves and joined them together inside-out by mistake :p
Nightmare's 2p looks very cool... well, maybe except for the red skin. I like the set of jaws over the crotch :D
Raphael's 2p, Voldo's 2p, Yoshimitsu... yeah.
Siegfried's 2p looks awesome.
Taki looks kinda silly...
Talim's 2p looks kinda like her SCII 1p plus a hat, though the picture's blurry so it's hard to tell...
Xianghua looks nice. SCII 3p returns, more or less, as SCIII 2p.
Arthur looks like SCII Mitsurugi with a head transplant.
Li-Long looks mean! Must be the furrowed brows.

I don't have a problem with any of the 2p outfits, actually, except for Raphael and Voldo's. Raphael looks like Nightwing, and Voldo like a circus clown. His 3p outfit from Soul Calibur 2 (where he looked like a devil) was effective and creepy, and that one is the exact opposite. :(

It's a lot of fun so far, and the endings I've gotten so far have been great (Seung Mi-na's, out of the one's I've seen so far, has the best input interaction). Although Tales of Souls (the story mode), has a bit of a difficulty curve to it (there's no difficulty setting for it) it's still pretty cool, the branching paths are a pretty cool idea, and the create a character mode gets more fun the more you unlock stuff (you start off with three character slots, and more can be bought from the game's store. I've gotten three more so far)

Is it me or do the bonus characters seem especially hard to beat ?
Donald M.

Abyss (I don't think his name constitutes a spoiler) sucks. He's mad cheap. Half the time when I get to him, I win after 20 or so tries purely out of luck, either because he decided not to blitz me this time, or due to a totally random ring out thrown me by the whims of fate.
I'm liking Chronicles of the Sword, but after the first few levels it gets really hard, especially the Level 60 characters on every level. The worst is when they're inside a stronghold and can regenerate between battles. At least when they're out in the open you can whittle them down bit by bit.

LoneWolf21

I haven't quite figured out how to turn Ivy's word to Whip mode either. One thing that I have noticed can be useful enough on Abyss is to just run in and just throw him as much as possible. I've found some dashing attacks to work well, as well Ivy's rotating whip move via pressing L2.

I too found the lvl 60 Rock surprisingly easy to beat and you're right, it does start to get easier once you level up a bit. I'm on Chronicle 16 and my main character is nearing level 50 and pretty much chews through everyone at this point. I'd have finished Chronicles long ago were I not laid up in the hospital from back surgery. I still have trouble with Abyss, I guess I just suck. Oh well, I always beat him eventually.

CotS is too complicated for me to play.
Looks like I'll miss the tournament today.
I'll practice more with my characters in the meantime.

i got troubled with either nightmare or siegfried. but after that, abyss is surprisingly easy. im on normal mode now. im thinking on giving up at CotS. lvl 10 is damn too cheesy. i hate it.
ps...
the other knight guy, not aeneas. he's currently a 10-0. 3 of those is lvl 60 setsuka, rock, and lizardman. :D

Well with Night Terror, I think you have to go through ToS without losing and defeat him. I have not gotten him yet.

Thanks. I knew he was Nightmare's true form, but I assumed he'd like different. He just looks like a more distorted Nightmare, though I guess it makes sense. Hope I get to him one day. :D

I think Night Terror also appears in Nightmare's alternate ending.
I really like the endings in SC 3 ( Raphael and Ivy in particular ! )

I'm liking Taki a bit in SC 3.
Talim is still frustrating to learn, but I am determined to play her again.
Same with Ivy.
Right now Sophitia is my worst opponent.

So, I got the game :)
Wow, Cassandra's like a total b**** now ^_^' This is unfortunate. And her costumes aren't quite as hot as in SCII (SCII 2P is sex). On the plus side, Seung Mina (er, Seong Mi-na) is looking really good this time around :)
I really miss Cass's rushing BB from SCII; You could attack and close distance at the same time relatively safely. Also, the kick in her AK has no range now :/ Oh, and the second kick of her 8-way-run kicks now goes right over a crouching opponent's head :/
Setsuka is ridiculously fast  A real pain to fight against. And it gets really damn annoying to hear "Scatter and die!" over and over >.<
Love how Olcadan goes "Kiddies, should be asleep by now!" when you fail a practice ^_^
Yoshimitsu's mid-level spinning move doesn't seem as safe as I remember... in SCII I could transition into a grab or low spin-kick, but in SCIII the opponent always gets in a counterattack right at the end of my spinning if I don't block. I notice his 1P costume actually doesn't look so bad except for the face ^_^'
Siegfried's a real badass, no doubt about it. His voice sounds really familiar, but I can't quite place it... possibly Scar from FMA. I changed his Edit Color 1 from gold armor and dopey blue hair to pewter-gray armor, dark green clothes, and black hair. Lookin' good
Abyss has some good lines too.

Whoa, creepy... at some point they changed Xianghua's CG art  Definitely an improvement though. Check out this gif of the new and old, respectively (originally found it here (http://soulcalibur3.us/forums/viewtopic.php?t=326&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=80), and slowed the animation for better viewing).

KOed people's eyes stay wide open... it's kinda creepy O.o
I keep reading elsewhere that Talim sucks mightily now, which is too bad :(
Managed to unlock the Beloved mission yesterday with Yoshimitsu, and then unlocked Amy :) Apparently she takes forever to unlock the brute-force way, so that's good news ^_^
I haven't even touched the Chronicle of Souls mode yet... currently working through everyone's Tale of Souls at least once each. Just a few people left now... Yunsung, Ivy, Setsuka, and whoever else I'm forgetting.
Btw, I read that you can change some character's panties-color by holding down all four L and R buttons while the character's color-edit screen is loading :D Ah, cheap thrills... They were careful to remove skin-tone color choices in all the right places though :p

I know what you mean. I only have Mom's friend at the moment, but he is not bad for a beginner. Our Ivy vs. Lizardman matches are almost always close. However, he does have problems against my Siegfried and Xianghua.

Created my first custom character today :) A knight named Rose. Looks kind of like Caska or an Ishbalan, with dark skin and hair, a child's face, and dark red eyes. Ironically she's getting more clothed over time :p IIRC she started out wearing a dancer's bra and barbarian underwear on her torso, with armored limbs. Then I added the hunter shirt and some pants. Then I switched the pants for chain mail. And then the bra for chainmail. So now the only skin she shows is above the neck :p I'm still not sure about the chainmail shirt, since she also looks good with some skin on the arms and bust, but...

The Lance and Iron Sword disciplines are kinda fun, but I swear Soul of Siegfried does more damage. At least, I seem to do better with it. It might be because I have prior experience with SCII Nightmare, but I only use a handful of moves for any given discipline, so...
Incidentally, it seems you can't get a convincing dark skin tone. I hear you could do it with the demo disc, but the palette changed for the final product. Quite a screw-up, there >.o
