In a Conan-related interview on the Newsarama site, Scott Allie mentions something of interest :
NRAMA: One final question: Dark Horse has one of the most complete TPB back-catalogues in the industry. What are the plans for collecting this series as book-shelve editions? Not to drool on your shoes or anything, but I just saw the first TPB collection on the shelf the other day and I was floored by how good it looked… but that aside, are we going to see any hardcovers or “deluxe” collections anytime soon? I mean, these things do seem to be all the rage lately…
SA: Funny you should ask. Just this week we started talking about doing something along these lines with Hellboy and The Goon… but the whole point of trade paperbacks is that they are the bookshelf edition. Keeping the paperback catalog complete is enough work, so don’t expect us to start shoving everything out there into hardcovers.
