I thought is was pretty good. Like the writing and the fighting. It was nice.

Note: It is an actually hard cover like a novel.

Yea I like the series because they focus more on what Batman brings to the friendship unlike the other series from years ago where it all Superman. I really love how they showed what each man was thinking. Batman: the only man to beat big Darkseid with relative ease, and Superman thinking ahead with the teleportation.

Yeah that was great. I like that they show what each is thinking. And the Batman Darkseid fight was great and so was the Teleportation thing.

I think Batman "defeating" freakin' DARKSEID was very far-fetched.

So was Darkseid breaking his word. So was someone being able to teleport away from his Omega Beams considering they're supposed to follow someone no matter where they go. So was Superman somehow beating Darkseid in strength easily, accessing a boom toob somehow, and thrusting him into the Source Wall to keep him there.

The Source Wall doesn't work that way by the by. You have to be attempting to get though to be caught, not forced into it by another person.

Then there was Superman blithly accepting Supergirl without listening to any of Batman's reasonable explenations of why she had to be studied, just because he's lonely. None of those questions was answered btw. Hell, so was not mentioning either of the previous two Supergirls nor the other Kara Zor-el who was hypertimed in and who Superman met.

Sure Batman doing that to Darkseid was unrealistic. But then so was everything else in that arc. Don't ignore all the other improbably and out of character moments just because you happen to like Superman more than you do Batman.

I agree. I just posted the one fact that annoyed me the most.

BTW, and for the record, I hate Supergirl. She shouldn't have come back.

And BTW, why did Superman cry, if he knew what happened? Well, at least it looked that way when he met Supergirl after his fight with Darkseid.

And yes, Darkseid was downplayed in that arc. I wonder what will happen to him.
