With all the artbooks coming out lately (DH's "The Art Of" series, IDW's "Fanta" series, Udon's "Eternal Challenge", etc) the market is ripe with images from some of the finest illustrators alive. The thing that seperates Swallow from the the rest of these is many of the artists filling its pages are largely unknown. Has anyone else picked this up? What do you think?

It was truly great. I loved the art within, was also pretty glad to see the various styles in there too. Glad to see Ashley doing something he enjoys and doing it well as always.

I am pleasantly surprised to see Kelsey Shannon included in the line-up. His portion of the book displays a new side of his brilliance. Celia Calle is another artist I am happy to see included. All involved in this first volume are pure class.

The Popbot Reader was released today. Ashley Wood is one busy man. The price may seem like a lot to plop down for the size, but, I truly think it's worth every dime.

Yeah, I do hate the pricing system at IDW, $5.99 for a comic art book. I still put the money on the counter and bought it. I love Ash with all my heart. :)

When I looked at the cover price I was taken aback a bit, but, I had already been sold on the content. I'm with you, Ash is kicking @$$ all over the place. I love that he's sharing the wealth.
