Crowded House Drummer Dies

Former Crowded House and Split Enz drummer and TV personality Paul Hester committed suicide on Saturday after a long battle with depression.

This is unbelievable. Every time I've seen this guy on TV he's always been about as far from depressed as you could possibly imagine.

It's a great shame. Drummers are often ridiculed for not having to possess much skill or intelligence but Paul Hester was an extremely good drummer and helped make Crowded House the outstanding band it was.
