Yesterday I picked up, among some other books, the new Medieval Lady Death #1 and Lady Death Leather & Lace 2005 on Avatar press.
Leather & Lace is jsut eye candy but its LD so i bought it.
Havent read the other one yet.
Anyone else read it? Any better/worse than the old Medieval LD?
Also anyone have any info on when the classic Lady Death will be coming out on avatar? I'm really excited about that one.

I've read MLD #1.
It's pretty good. The story is much the same as the CrossGen series, though the artwork is not quite as nice as when Ivan Reis was doing it.
However, I can see some fans being annoyed, since a good half of the entire comic is recap of what came before.
I believe Classic Lady Death will come out some time either late next month, or sometime in May. Like you, I am also really looking forward to it.
What do you think of Brian's other Avatar stories? Belladonna's been pretty good. But Unholy has been my favourite so far.
THANATOS, by the way, did you read my reply to your request for information on Lady Death/Purgatori that you posted on the Classic Comic Books forum some weeks back?
I know you were trying to dig up information and back issues from Chaos. How far did you get?

I read the Medieval Lady Death book, and I thought it was pretty good. I would still have preferred they finish The Wild Hunt storyline, but any MLD is better than none.

Picked up Medieval LD #1, but haven't read it yet. I didn't think the art was too bad. Not Reis, of course, but Reis actually only did the first few CG issues.

Arvandor -
So far I have found the following at my local comic shops.
Lady Death -
The Odyssey #2
The Crucible #3
Wicked Ways #3
Last Rites #4
Purgatori -
Dracula Gambit
Goddess Rising #2
Purgatori seems to be really hard to find around here. Old MLD is most common but I'm holding off on gettin those till I got the classic LD's.
I haven't checked out any of Pulido's other stuff on Avatar yet. Can you recommend a good title?
I think I jsut read something about his latest title, I can't remember the name, but it looked cool.

You do realise that, except for the name, there is no actual connection between Medieval LD and Classic LD? You can buy the old Medieval issues without feeling you've missed any of the story.
As I said, Unholy has been my favourite of Brian's other Avatar stories. But War Angel sounds really cool. Very 'Purgatori-ish'.

War Angel, thats the one. It does indeed look interesting.
I'll be sure to check out Unholy next time I'm at Silver Snail.
Is Unholy in black and white?
And yes I realize that Classic LD and MLD are not connected and I could pick up old MLD without missing the story, but for some reason I just want to get the Classic Lady Death's. I probably will get them eventually though.
If the new CLD's were out on avatar already I most likely wouldn't even be picking up the new MLD's at all until I had a little extra cash down the road.
I am much more interested in Classic than Medieval LD.

Why? "Classic" Lady Death is purely T&A. "Medieval" has fascinating story and art. (That's my opinion, anyway.)

Classic Lady Death is more than just T&A....it's T&A&blood...lol
I think Classic Lady Death has good story, and great art, at times.
I'm not a huge fan of Steve Hughes (sp?) but he did LD herself very well, and I really like Mike Deodato Jr's work on LD.

Just to add: I really like how in Classic LD there is interaction with other kick ass Chaos! Characters, such as Purgatori (my favorite) and Evil Ernie. Their stories all co-mingle at times.
Evil Ernie is a big part of what makes Classic LD story cool....Death herself is cursed by lucifer never to walk the earth again as long as it holds life, so she sends Evil Ernie out on a mission of megadeath to kill everything. That is cool.

I have to agree with that.
