Do you mean comics that are entirely published on the web, or illegal scans of comics that people use to mooch of an industry that struggles enough as it is?

Good - less expensive

Bad- ya gotta have a computer to read them

Some companies are experimenting with posting their comics online, yes. CrossGen had a site where you could read every issue they ever published, with new ones being added six months after the print version hit the stands. Not bad for a buck a month.

Marvel used to post a lot of their books online, too, but I think they've stopped doing so.

And, yes, there are sites where people post illegal scans of books, too. You want a link to those you're gonna have to ask someone else.

Marvel still does provide online, flash versions of some of their books. You can find them here. (http://marvel.com/dotcomics/index.htm) It's not a bad format for reading digital comics, but I wish Marvel would update their site more frequently.

I recently picked up the 40 Years of Amazing Spider-Man CD-ROM set. You pay about $35 (American) and get 11 CD's containing the first 500 issues of ASM and Amazing Fantasy #15. It's not as much fun reading them on a screen as it would be to have the book in hand, but to have a complete run of ASM for that price, even if it's only digital copies (which are printable, by the way), is totally worth it.
