He may be in for a beating though. Marvel Knights Spider-man #12 ships next week, and there's a preview up at http://www.popcultureshock.com.

For me he is. And I miss him.
He seemed to be half back (his evil side) in the first 4 issues of Millars'MKSpidey. But later issues present a stupid retcon version, so like I said, for me he is still dead.
Please, somebody, bring back Harry as Green and Roderick as Hob. :p

Marvel's continuity's got to be made stable since he's categorically been dead eversince the death of gwen stacy

Yes, Norman Osborne died in Amazing Spider-Man #122. Also, Gwen Stacy died, an apparent virgin with no children in #121. I wish this current crop of writers would get with the program and quit writing all this nonsense about Norman knocking up Gwen, kidnapping Aunt May, etc ;) .

Mysterio plot. I'm telling you. It's the spdier-man equivalent of "A Wizard did it,".

As for the topic question. Sadly, Norman is still alive. His personality and character however has already been embalmed and cremated.

Unfortunatly, yes. He was great up until he died in the 70's. And he was even pretty cool at the time they brought him back in the 90's. But he's boring now. Nothing but "Bwahaha! Peter, I'm gonna drop everyone you love off bridges unless you beat me up! I'm craaaazy!" They need one last big shebang for Normand, kill him off (more permanently than they did the first time), and forget the whole Green Goblin persona for a while.

They need to blow Norman into a million pieces and separate all of them, so that they don't bond back together due to the super-strength Goblin formula coursing through Norman's veins.

I regard most post-Clone Saga continuity as an alternate universe, or "elsewords"-like. It's not the real Spidey, that's for sure.

And stop laughing, I know Spidey's not a "real" character, but there was a time when Marvel had respect for what they'd done with characters and continuity.

It's just getting to the point where EVERYTHING that goes wrong is Norman's fault.

Somebody gather a large team of villians? It's Norman.
A member of Spidey's supporting cast getts atatcked or kidnapped? Norman set it up.
Imposters posing as Spidey's loved ones? Norman.
The Grocery store is out of Spidey's favorite cereal? Norman showed upa nd bought the last box.
Peter is in the men's room and notices there's no of toilet paper? All part of Norman's plan.

No superhero or major villain is ever truly dead in the world of comics.

Funny. I only think of ASM#14-122 Norman as the ONLY Norman Osborn/Green Goblin now.

I want him dead.

I want to see his corpse.

I want an autopsy, followed by an open casket funeral(I'd have suggested cremation, but seeing as how Colossus was cremated, never mind).

I want Peter to be the only person at the actual burial, and for him to spit onto the coffin as the undertakers start shovelling the dirt.

I want the NYPD to unearth all of Osborn's secret stashes, thus ensuring that no one will try to resurrect the Green Goblin. Rod Kingsley can waste this Gabriel cuss and reclaim the last existing examples of Osborn's tech, thus cementing his claim as the rightful heir to the title, the one true Hobgoblin.

I want Joe Quesada to make it company policy at Marvel; Norman Osborn must never be resurrected in any way, shape, or fashion. Any writer at Marvel, from the fresh-off-the-bus newbie to Bendis, Claremont or Whedon, who ever suggests, except as an April Fools Day joke, that Norman should come back, will be given his two-weeks' notice, and no references.

I am seldom passionate about geek-matters, but I am about this. There is not one single thing that any writer, no matter how talented, can do with Norman Osborn that would make him any more of a threat, or any more intriguing as a character. There are no more Osborn stories.

Stop the madness, Joe Quesada! Norman Osborn must die!

No. There is one more story. We still have the story of Hobgoblin taking him down and beating him in every possibly way.

After that, then you can kill Norman.
Heck, after you kill him, have demogoblin kick the crud out of the guy.

The ORIGINAL GG was the best of any Goblin. He was smart(I mean VERY smart like when he planned to have the Hulk rip Spidey apart), he was dangerous(He beat Spiderman more than once before his "death"), he was an amazing prep villain, and he effected NYC in many ways along with Peter(Spawning more Goblins, destroying half of a crime syndicate AREA, ect). So for me, if he did not return, he would still be on my top ten list no matter what. They should do an OPPOSITE time retcon and have Spidey mess up Norman's history into having a major explosion where Norman died. I mean ATOMIC NUCLEAR, not just an explosian.

When did he plan for Hulk to rip Spider-Man apart? Was this where he faked filiming a movie? I thought it just so happened Hulk was in that tunnel and none of them knew, including GG, he was there till it was too late.
