Inspired by the Fela Kuti thread (Fela has some amazing, psychedelic comic-style-meets-collage album covers)...
What examples can you think of of good comic book inspired (or just comic-like in style) album covers?
A few that instantly sprang to my mind:
A Tribe Called Quest: Beats, Rhymes & Life

Scientist Rids The World Of The Evil Curse Of The Vampires
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B000001XSC.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
and several other Scientist dub albums:

The Groundhogs: Who Will Save The World?
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B00009L1OC.02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
(note: I've never heard the Groundhogs (I guess they are some sort of country/Americana type thing?), but saw this one in a record shop the other day...)
I'm sure there are plenty of others in the worlds of dub and hip hop, but i dunno about other types of music (maybe a few indie/metal ones?)... your favourites?
The one that most immediately comes to mind is the R. Crumb cover for Janis Joplin's Cheap Thrills.

I'd post a picture of it, but I don't want to break the no nudity rule. You can do a search for it if ya wants to check it out.

Didn't Brian Bolland do the cover for that one Kula Shaker album?

I think Dan Brereton did an album cover for Rob Zombie.
I also believe that Derek Riggs,Iron Maiden's longtime album cover artist, has done some comics work.

If I knew how to post them I would, but I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the Iron Maiden albums, or the original cover for Appetite For Destruction.

Yeah. I think that artwork was reused from a children's book McKean did though.

Yep, but it was still an album cover.
