if they do (its most likely very far off), whats your opinion on it, who should be cast in it, who should be the supporting characters, what should the story be, all comments welcome, thanks :)
Redford would have been a great Sentry.

i could definately see that, he would have been perfect in his younger days

I wonder if Lee meant that or it was just a fluke of the design?
Oooh, Brenda from Six Feet Under would be a good Lindy.

Only one man can play this part. Yep, you guessed it, Frank Stallone.

Somebody who can play tortured and conflicted well. I'd say Sean Penn, but he's not buff.

Nah he's pretty buff but I don't think his face matches up. I think Thomas Jane would be great for The Sentry since he's gotten pretty buff since the Punisher and acts well.
The only problem is having two major superhero roles but this movie is as unlikely as an Avengers movie, especially with all the important MU characters who have appeared in the mini.

Hah, I was thinking about this after reading the TPB a couple months back.. This can't work as a single movie. It would seem all too much rushed and incomplete. To tell this story, it would have to be a mini on like HBO/Showtime/etcetc.. And casting as the Sentry, I hate to say it. But I think Brad Pitt could pull it off great.

Vin Diesel. I can just see the Sentry talking with Vin's deep voice, and Vin already has the muscle mass for a superhero. However, he will need to grow out his hair, or wear a wig, because we can't have a bald Sentry :D .

Brilliant
Tortured

these are all great choices, and i'd hate to say it too, Brad Pitt WOULD make a good Sentry
now for the rest of the cast, sorry i can't name them, i don't know much about the Sentry supporting cast...all i know about is The Void
Simple, the major supporting players would be, Lindy Reynolds, Reed Richards, Stephen Strange, Sue Richards and maybe Scout.

Brad would be good too, I think.

Movie likely would follow the mini not NA.

Movie likely would follow the mini not NA.That's true, but didn't the mini end (don't quote me) with Sentry turning himself in? Wouldn't his future in NA merit just a one shot teaser?
**Creak**
"Mr. Reynolds? We need you."
**Cut to credits**
Gotta leave room for a sequel.

Guy Pierce is a great pick, he is a talented actor and he has the right kind of look for Sentry. I would like somone a little more built, since Sentry is more Superman than Spider-Man, but acting-wise he has got it.
Visually, I think Brad Pitt would work, he has shown that he can get into terrific shape for his roles, he has the lightly coloured hair and plenty of range as an actor.

nahh, I don't really think that Guy Pierce would be a good Sentry, i don't think he has the height for it, he might be able to get the build but he just doesn't have the height

Height? Its a movie, they can fix that. Think about it, Tom Cruise rarely looks short in his flicks, and the guy is like 5'5.

thet are real picky about height for these super hero flicks, to be eligable for superman you had to be 6"2, so it isn't as easy to make someone sort seem tall

Heh. It's funny when you think about the X-men movie, Logan is pretty much the same height as Cyclops, isn't he? Where our Wolverine is like five-foot-five and Scott is like six-three.
I think Guy would be a good pick. I think they can manuever around the height as much as they needed to if it was really an issue

Wolverine's actually 5'3", and yeah you guys are right, I forgot about how they could do the height thing with the camera

Jackman's about 6' even.
We only know what we were told in NA #1, looks like #7-9 are gonna explain why he was there.

I'm curious as to why Reed was so helpful, he knew Lindy and she was basically Sue's best friend, so if Rob killed her that would strain his relationship with the FF I'd think.
And Guy Pierce is an inspired choice for Sentry, what about Linda Fiorentino for Lindy?

Maybe becuase Reed understands Reynolds problem, or Reed thinks Rob didn't do it...most likely those are the best case scenarios
Linda Fiorentino would be good, i liked her in Dogma

The latter makes sense given that he sent Matt.

Good point, but we don't know if it would work for the Sentry. I meant that Matt won't represent a guilty man.

maybe he isn't guilty, remember when Foggy was in the cell with him, and he was talkin to Rob, he said "but we came here to help you. we came here to help you figure out what HAPPENED to you and your wife." so with that said, maybe he isn't guilty
