You know...I'm getting more and more paranoid about eating out anymore...

Woman Eating Chili Bites Into Human Finger (http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story.jsp?idq=/ff/story/0001%2F20050323%2F2235990188.htm&sc=1120)

This is worse than that time when someone found a fried rat in their KFC meal.

And people wonder why I never ate at Wendy's.

"We asked everybody to show us they have 10 fingers and everything is OK there.''That's some funny shit.

I should add that I had Wendy's chili for lunch, and it was delicious.

What I really don't get, though, is how you'd pick up an object that big with your spoon and not notice till it was in your mouth. Or was she chugging the chili?

Did you use the little packet to make it hotter? I think it makes a pretty big difference.

But as long as nobody's finding fingers in the Frosty's, I don't think this'll keep me away for long, even though this happened less than half an hour from where I live.

I've heard these kind of horror stories from just about every fast food chain.

It's not Wendy's fault...it's not the entire chain that does this...it's the shitty employees at this particular Wendys...and some fast food joints have good service...while others don't

I'm not sure whether this is hilarious or sickening. I guess it is a little bit of both.

howyadoin is right, how did this woman not notice the freakin' finger on her spoon?

I'm not a huge fan a fast food to start with, but I'll be use to avoid Wendy's for a little while.

So they gave her the finger before she complained about the taste of the chili.

I only wonder how many millions she will get when she sues for mental anguish.

Hmmmm...odd. It's certainly possible. I know that when I worked there for a short time, back in the late '70s, they made their chili meat out of the old, grease covered burgers that had been on the grill too long and they couldn't serve. I had to dump a bunch of these into a big chopping machine every morning.

No idea if that's how they still do it, though.

**counts fingers** O.K., I'm cool...

It makes you wonder about the real contents of Wendy's food...no, i guess not, using human flesh to spice up their recipies would entail both excessive cost and risk.
