The classic cover's are being solved too quickly by all the eagle-eyed comic fans out there. In an effort to prolong the time until a solution is found, I am asking for your help by providing samples of first clues, or other hint-examples and ideas that will give The Masked Man some breathing room.

The objective is to slow the pace, keep the clues cryptic (even to Metarog's eyes), perhaps even irk some of the hardcore groupies and get them to drop out. Myself excluded of course.

What follows are a couple of first clue ideas that popped into my head. Add any others that you can think of.

And hurry please, the computer shops in Toronto are having a hard time keeping scanners in stock.

Dang it! This is exactly what I am addressing here. Too many comic-wise, eagle-eyes making The Classic Comics Keeper's life a torture. Just couldn't pull the wool over the Historian's blue-lidded eyes.

The man is chained to his scanner, his wife has forgotten what he looks like. Which is just as well, considering what over-exposure to scanner-light has done to his complexion. The Long Ranger is glowing brighter than the original Ghost Rider.

Hey Kimosabe, face to the west would ya! We've still got a ton of snow to melt here in Minnesota.
