Just to be clear, it's only actual BatMAN books, been reading GC, Catwoman, Nightwing, Birds and Batgirl.
And haven't read one published in the last 4/5 years, which is when I got into comics in the first place.

You're STILL missing good stuff. Batman, Detective Comics, AND Gotham Knights are all in the middle of good, solid arcs.

I refuse to buy them until he gets his senses of compassion and humor back.

Oh, I think you can find that in the current Batman arc. Judd Winick has put in some really lovely witty-banter bits.

He's gonna stay at least a little bit of an ass until all the fallout from War Games shakes down, though.

I avoid Knights as I don't see any reason for it. It's the Hush book. It used to be Devin K Grayson's modern take on Batman Family and how they work together. Now, it's just a vehicle for Hush.

As for Miller and Lee, I love Miller's Batman, but I worry about his portrayl of Dick Grayson.

GK isn't a Hush book. It's a rogues gallery book. Hush is lurking in the background, but the spotlight is on Ivy now. And after Ivy, it looks like it'll be on Prometheus.

And you're expecting Frank Miller to deliver that? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

GK isn't a Hush book.

Actually, the writer himself has said that he considers Hush to be the main character in this title.

I know, but that doesn't mean it's all about Hush. Hush is in every issue, but in the last few it's only been very brief appearances. This story is about Ivy.

Well considering I thought Hush was the lamest Batman villian since.. well ..since ever, even having him in the backgrounds all the time sours the book for me. A Batman book starring the villians? Sounds awesome, but having Hush around all the time ruins it for me.

I'm worried about Miller's take on Dick Grayson as well. In DKSA, he is a mutated psychopath with a gay/spurned lover thing going on for Batman. That was one of the parts of it that killed DKSA for me. Well, the writing and the art were bad too. Not par with Miller's usuall work.

No, but I like Miller enough to read it. I love Y1 and DKR, besides, Frank has a sense of humor, usually satire.

Gotta agree. But I still enjoyed the book for what it is. I had been waiting for a sequel to DKR for years. And though I admit I was disappointed, I still enjoyed the books. I really liked Frank's version of Plastic Man. Just made sense to me.

Hopefully, Miller wont write Robin in any way, shape, or form like he did in DKSB.
