Some random thoughts about the Pokemon World.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I was frequently electrocuted and launched into the sky, which usually involves a painful landing , I would very seriously consider looking for another line of work.

After all this time, wouldn't you think Meowth would have learned a few new attacks beside a Fury Swipe?

For that matter, why hasn't Giovanni fired Jessie, James and Meowth? Is it because Meowth is the only talking Pokemon?

Since James' family has lots of money and he is the sole heir, why doesn't just pretend to accept it and then steal it. Or just accept it and never have to worry about being hungry or constandly blasting off with the painful landing? :D

It might be a good idea if those three try and befriend a few people who could help train Cacnia, Saviper, Dustox to do better in battle. They they might actually suceed is stealing other Pokemon.

Can you tell I'm completly bored? :p

Of course, after seeing Nadia, whenever someone metnions Team Rocket, I have to think of Miss Grandis and Hanson and Sanson. Just look at these pics and you can't tell me that they weren't the inspiration fro Team Rocket. They made Hanson a cat and made Sanson a effeminate fop. Of course, Nadia itself takes from Laputa and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, so I can't really complain. I acutally kinda love how these little known characters, from an obscure early Gainax anime that even most Eva fans don't know of, are reincarnated in the world famous Pokemon.

Yeah, Grandis and Jessie look similiar, but I don't think either of the guys look much like James.

Meowth's ability to talk apparently took away his ability to learn new moves.

James's family is psycho. Definitely dangerously so, and possibly lethally. He wants to stay away as much as possible.

Giovanni hasn't fired Jessie and James and Meowth because they aren't important enough to. They have a horrible batting average, and they never seem to be part of any big plans. Bureaucracy or something is probably keeping them employed.

On the positive side, they do see some weird stuff following Ash & company. Jessie and James have no problem taking odd jobs to make the money to construct their giant robots (and from all example shown, they probably DO design and build the capturing robots themselves. Pretty impressive). They'd probably keep working even if Team Rocket stopped paying them, just do to momentum.

J&J have an okay track record on stealing if they don't go against the heroes, and (I don't think this if fanon) a decent fighting record against "fellow" badguys. As for the training, well, they would probably do better if they weren't tracking kids through the forest, digging pit traps, working 2+ jobs for food & shelter, etc.

Now that I think of it, the two might be able to charge Mrs. Ketchum for lots of baby-sitting time, with all the following they've done....

Obscure Gainax is the original Gunbuster series.

I think Team Rocket should have their own show.

they should resort to flashbangs, and an assortment of firearms. no giant robots that look like pokemon.

Yes, but perhaps the team behind the cartoon realized they weren't gonna get firearms past the Standards department of the average American network television station. :D
