Thanks, Jeff! Not a mag that I usually invest in, but I may just need to this time around :)

Why did the chicken cross the road??? Mignola and other cartoonists answer this age-old joke query and, of course, Mike's is awesome!! Characteristically spooky and funny, although a small two-panel color illo, it's well worth the 4.95 cover price.
CBM... I would love to hang this piece in my sons' room. They're 14 and 11 and love this sort of goofy humor. Any chance Mike would sell this to me?
Sorry Wolf...not at this time!!!

CBM...
Thanks for answering. WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD? really is a wonderful, absurd, spooky piece. I guess living down here in (yawn) Delaware, where the state bird is a Blue Hen, endears me and my boys to this illo. If Mike ever decides to let this one leave the roost, please keep us in mind. I'll start saving, create a nest egg for it, as I'm sure it won't be available for a poultry sum. (g r o a n)
No harm, no foul,

Nick Magazine usually has lots of comics stuff from respected artists. It's always nice to leaf through. I REALLY gotta get to the newsstand!

Funny piece, although I find it odd for Nick Magazine to obtain such a cool one page comic from Mike Mignola only to have them print it about the size of a playing card. Uncool.

Thanks for the heads up on this one, Jeff! I wouldn't have known about it. That's a great piece of Mignola artwork, with his usual great sense of humor. I second Hellboyone's feelings, though, that Nick Magazine should have DEFINITELY printed it at full page size! Come on! I sure hope it turns up in some sort of Dark Horse collection down the road in all its true glory.
For those of you still trying to find this magazine (it took me a while), it's full size, not a digest. The cover has a bunch of square pictures of Hillary Duff and Ben Stiller and others. (Those who are inclined can even punch them out!)
