Conan #14 - yay!
JLA Classified #5 - loved last issue, except for the Richard Hertz joke, which I doubt was ever funny.
Nightwing #106 - last issue and then I am back to not reading Nightwing again.
Sleeper Season Two #10 - 3 more issues.
Simpsons/Futurama II #2 - last issue kind of blew. But I enjoyed the first crossover, and this is the last issue, so why not.
Waiting for the Trade
------------
Books of Magick #9 - I think I might not get the next trade. The buzz on this book is quiet, and the first trade didn't wow me enough.
Seven Soldiers: Guardian #1
Expatriate #1 - maybe
Daredevil #71
Runaways #2
Spellbinder #1
Spider-Man/Human Torch #3 - last month I chickened out and picked up issues 1 and 2. I loved them, and was glad I wasn't chancing missing them. Then a digest collection got announced. Well, I don't dislike the Marvel digests (like some on this board) so I wish I had waited. But for an 8 dollar digest, it still makes since to skip the remaining 3 issues and go back to waiting for the trade.

What I'd like Get This Week (but will prob have to get next month):
New Avengers #4--I can honestly say that I've never enjoyed the Avengers this much! Sure, they've had some good stuff in the past, but its never been one of my fav titles. Till now. I like seeing Cap, Iron Man, Spiderman, Spiderwoman, and Luke Cage on the Avengers! I also think its going to be cool when Wolverine comes in! Oh and I can't wait to find out what Spiderwoman is up too!
Ultimate Spiderman--from last week! Still haven't got it! lol!
And I know Invinicble TPB #4 is coming out near the end of the month, but I'm not sure when.
I'm looking forward to that TPB quiete a bit. I love TPB #3!
DF2506
" Current favorite titles: Savage Dragon, Invinicble, Ultimate Spiderman, New Avengers, and I'm pretty sure Ultimate Iron Man is going to be one of my current favs too! "

What a strange month its been, another small week for me:
PREVIEWS VOL XV #4 PI
MARVEL PREVIEWS #20 APRIL 2005 EXTRAS
DC COMICS
JLA CLASSIFIED #5 $2.99
Giffen/DeMatteis/Maguire/Rubenstein goodness!
NIGHTWING #106 $2.25
This is the end... :(
MARVEL
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #518 $2.25
My last issue of ASM for the forseeable future. Purge #4 of 2005.
ONI PRESS
QUEEN & COUNTRY VOL 7 OPERATION SADDLEBAGS TP (MR) $14.95
Recently took advantage of a 40% discount at my LCS and bought all HC (with the exception of Vol. 5) to replace my softcovers so I'm going to hold off on getting this at this time.

Bigger week this week than last week. Or the week before:
DC COMICS
JLA Classified #5, $2.99
Nightwing #106, $2.25
Sleeper Season Two #10 (Of 12), $2.99
Yay! More Giffeny goodness! Combined with SLEEPER. Talk about your confusing weeks. . .
And this might just be the end of NIGHTWING for me.
GEMSTONE PUBLISHING
Uncle Scrooge #340, $6.95
Walt Disneys Comics & Stories #655, $6.95
I'm not keeping up on these at all. I read the Rosa and Van Horn stories, and frequently the Barks ones. But I only half the time bother with the rest, and the $2.95 issues just sit in a pile in a box in a corner. I might need to consider trimming some Duck books next, unfortunately.
MARVEL COMICS
Amazing Spider-Man #518, $2.25
Avengers Assemble Vol 2 HC, $29.99
Daredevil #71, $2.99
Marvel Previews #20 April 2005 Extras, AR
Wolverine Classic Vol 1 TPB, $12.99
I'm pretty sure that the AVENGERS HC is mail order, so I won't see it for a couple of weeks. I'll have to flip through the WOLVERINE CLASSIC book, because I forget what's in it at this point.
WIZARD ENTERTAINMENT
New West #1, $4.99
Wizard Best Of Basic Training Dlx TPB, $29.99
NEW WEST is new Phil Noto goodness. Yay.
And the BASIC TRAINING book might be some fun.
magazines
Previews Vol XV #4, AR
By far, this is the best magazine on comics today. It's the one that captures my interest, holds it by the throat, and dares me to look away.
After that, THE COMICS JOURNAL has some good months, and WRITE is often entertaining.
Then there's the trade-waiting list:
WAIT FOR TRADE:
DEFINITELY:
100 Bullets #59, $2.50
Livewires #2 (Of 6), $2.99
New Avengers #4, $2.25
Queen & Country Vol 7 Operation Saddlebags TPB, $14.95
Wait for the hardcover on Q&C.
MAYBE:
Runaways #2 (Of 12), $2.99
Spellbinders #1 (Of 6), $2.99
Spider Man Human Torch #3 (Of 5), $2.99
I might even buy the first issue of SPELLBINDERS this week to sample it.

Hellblazer #206
While upset over the Carey news, I'm not surprised. That's just how the industry is these days.
Nightwing #106
I'm the only one who is still sticking around after this arc, huh?
Trigger #4
Need to read #3 tonight and decide.
Amazing Spider-Man #518
JMS!!!
Avengers Assemble vol. 2 HC
::stands next to Jeff and nods head in agreement::
Livewires #2
Warren & Mays!!!
Rogue #9
I liked #7 and 8 enough that I'm thinking of switching to trade before I buy anymore issues.
Spellbinders #1
Carey!!! And like Livewires, I don't have that it-will-be-in-trade certainty.
Spider-Man/ Human Torch #3
Enjoying this immensely! Plus , I'm not a fan of the Marvel digests.
Wolverine Classic vol. 1 TP
What is this again? I may have pre-ordered it. Can't remember.
X-Men #168
Giving Milligan a long leash because he's Milligan, but I would like to see something soon.
Queen & Country vol. 7: Operation Saddlebags HC
Woot!
Wait for Trade
--------------
Conan
I keep going back and forth on this. I love Busiek but I'm not crazy about Conan.
100 Bullets
Come out faster!!! I'm fiending like a junkie here!
Books of Magick
Need to read the first trade (already purchased) and decide from there.
Seven Soldiers: Guardian
Maybe
Sleeper Season Two
The wait is really getting to me. Stupid "saving money" plan. Don't want money! Want Sleeper!
Daredevil
Are they going to be able to neatly wrap up Bendis in HC? Or will we eventually end up with a split creator HC?
Excalibur
The lack of a second trade solicit has me thinking I made a big mistake with this one. :o
New Avengers
I have high hopes
Runaways
I doth solemnly swear, Tracie. ;)

I'm actually jumping on after this arc because I'm a big fan of Phil Hester.
I just hope that Devin Grayson's stories will be as good as the art will be.

I got home to find out that I was one of the winners in the Ultimate Street Angel Contest! (http://www.comicbookgalaxy.com/streetangelcontest.html) YIPPIE! :p
So, now on top of all of my weekly goodies, the stack of old FF's (between 110 - 168) , old Cap's (between 129 - 170) and the Orbiter HC that I snagged at a 50% off sale at Webhead Comics in Wakefield, MA, I also have an autographed Street Angel to read!
Great week for comics! :D
ROBIN #136 $2.25
This issue has guest art by Pop Mhan and Sandra Hope.
thanks for reminding me, tracie! I made sure it was the first comic I actually picked up in the shop! :)
-----------
quickie review, tho, i don't know the current story, pop and hope and rich on colors was just too much to pass up on. the art was great, but times looked a tad uneven and batman was the unbatmanest batman i have ever seen. i think pop refers to his phillipino bretheren too much for people reference in this one.
