Ok I watched all the episodes the other night on MTV2 and they showed this Band as they grew from being selected by Puff Daddy to the point of thier 2nd Album.

During that time Puffy booted one member finally and the Band seemed to lose thier desire to work. So what happened ? Did they ever release the 2nd album or did It all go away after Puff booted em from his New York Apartment ?

It went like this I think. On the last episode Frank quit then later Puffy disbanded the whole group, but kept Ness and Babs and said they were going to be Hip Hop's next Bonnie and Clyde. Haven't quite put on an allbum yet though.

3 mediocre MC's, 1 fake Jamaican, a Cash Money clone and R&B eye candy. Weak, watered-down beats and a name that would have been hot in 1988. I'm stunned this didn't work out.

Choppa was cool, the rest weren't. The producers definitely weren't.

Puffy is making a girl group--not a band. When one is in a band you have a drummer, guitarist, bass player, & vocalist. If this was indeed a true band, which of the girls played drums, guitar, bass, & vocals?

Puffy pulls all the strings while his girl group were mere puppets.

I saw a few episodes & thought nothing of them.

we were referring to last season, although i figure the same rules as you've stated apply.

The show would have been more interesting if they were making a band, in my opinion.

I mean, in the end, who wants to listen to an album of like six people all trying to get on the mic at the same time?

Not counting Wu-Tang Clan and Weathermen.

Seriously. Why is anyone still trying to be signed to Bad Boy? Who was its last musical act of significance? That's a career black hole if I've ever seen one.

People are under the delusion that Puffy...sorry P.Diddy is going to fast track them to stardom. Not realizing that his main concern is his own stardom, as he is Bad Boy's biggest star and has been ever since Biggie was shot to death. I know a couple people that work or have worked there, man are there some stories that can only be told when Puff has his fall from grace.

edited to make sense

Exactly. When was the last time his label had a hit single or album? Not recently.

P. Diddley is too self-involved & his entourage of sychophants are too busy sniffing his unmentionables than to be producing hit records.

Simply having an MTV show about forming a bad girl group does not make one a success.
