That might be for the best.

Though I'm still hanging in there with Lucifer.

Anyone know of any past work Ms. Mina has done?

Anyone know of any past work Ms. Mina has done?
A quick google search revealed that Denise Mina is a crime novelist, never haven't worked in the comics industry, but she says she's currently reading all the Hellblazer comics to prepare for it. It's reported that she's going to be doing only a 6-issue story arc starting in January 2006, but no mention if she actually takes over as the regular writer thereafter.

This from her website (http://www.denisemina.co.uk/contents/bio.htm) and her work (http://www.denisemina.co.uk/contents/books.htm) :
Denise Mina was born in Glasgow in 1966. Because of her father's job as an engineer, the family followed the north sea oil boom of the seventies around Europe, moving twenty one times in eighteen years from Paris to the Hague, London, Scotland and Bergen. She left school at sixteen and did a number of poorly paid jobs: working in a meat factory, bar maid, kitchen porter and cook. Eventually she settle in auxiliary nursing for geriatric and terminal care patients.
At twenty one she passed some exams and started Law school at Glasgow University and went on to research a PhD thesis at Strathclyde University on the ascription of mental illness to female offenders, teaching criminology and criminal law in the mean time. Misusing her grant she stayed at home and wrote a novel, 'Garnethill' when she was supposed to be studying instead.

This page has highlights of some big-name writers from Glasgow. The first section talks about her. WARNING: It has spoilers for her story arc.

Hey, so long as they don't bring Azzarello back, I am a happy, happy woman.

Very good news on the Fables front. We get to finally learn who the Adversary is, and get a slew of new Fable characters! Should be interesting to say the least.

But what is the deal with 100 Bullets? They keep getting pushed back, are they that behind? For cryin' out loud guys, get it together already!
