can u delete a thread that u previously posted???
Deletion is up to mods as far as I know.

Deletion of threads has been disabled to prevent a single non-mod poster deleting a thread that several other posters were enjoying.
Now only mods can delete threads. If you have a thread double-posted, it probably be will deleted by them before too long.

Only mods can delete threads. But posters can edit their own posts.

On the other hand, if you have a good reason and you ask nicely, SOMETIMES a mod will remove a thread at the initial starter's request.
Probably depends on exactly what the reason is, though.

Or, ask the mod to close the thread.

If you don't mind me asking, why can't we delete our own threads or even just single posts?
