newbie needs help

Hello. I have started to become interested in Spiderman, and I can use some help. Im not that big of a comics person in general, but I am insane over X-men. There is a website called www.uncannyxmen.net that has everything about X-men.

What I am asking is if anyone knows of a website where I can learn a lot about Spiderman from? Im not talking about Ultimate Spiderman, because its too simple, and I dont like the concept of the Ultimate books. But if anyone has any good information websites, can you please post a link?

You might consider trying out Ultimate Spider-man though; it's not a simple, dumbed down version of the character or anything.

The site you're gonna want to visit is Spiderfan.org (http://www.spiderfan.org/) It's got a list of every Spider-Man comic ever published along with plot synopsis for quite a few stories. Probably the best Spidey resource on the web.
