Wow! I know that there's always alot of debate about how good and/or faithful these figures look, but I really like the look of this!

Make sure you go check out the forum at Mezco. The boiler room has a full unteaser photo. I didn't even read the article at action figures.com. Just went and saw it myself. I like it a lot. Too bad we won't see the full line until june/july.

Saw the not-teaser picture on the boiler room a minute ago, I'm pumped about it. It is sweet.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet actually. I feel a lot more positive towards it now that we get to see the whole figure.

What strikes me as most OFF now is his expression. The eyes... I don't think we've ever seen Mignola draw them quite that annoyed. Not even when he went berserk underwater. I could also bitch about how he's way too muscle toned. But all in all, I think it's pretty sweet. Also looking forward to the feature in Lee's Toy Review.

He looked pretty annoyed when he found out the BPRD put a bomb in Roger. And I have a page where he looks really annoyed. But I guess it was just an artistic decision.

He has too much detail, but this figure is definitely looking good from the front. Hope they can retain that nice red color in mass production.

The chest seems more barrel-ish, yes?

The chest seems more barrel-ish, yes?

I thought so. I also liked the proportion of the legs.

I think that thing is amazing. Although in the full body shot, he's looking straight out and you can't see his ears.

Best HB action-figure ever!

Which makes me very happy as well... :D

Me too! HB is in his full barrel chested, little legged glory!

The figure looks amazing which just heightens my excitement for this line,
consider me stoked!

Barrel chest, short legs, skinny wrist, enormous right hand! What's not to love? Looking good, Mezco!

I thought so. I also liked the proportion of the legs.

I thought the legs looked like they could still be a bit smaller--and skinnier! (Or less toned.) But that's just quibbling. I sure wouldn't be complaining to have that figure on my shelf as is right now!

Comic Hellboy is shaping up pretty awesomely... (Did I just make up an adverb?)

He's barrel-chested from the front but from the side he's still got a super model waist, which I hate.

I just hope it doesn't have the ankle problems the Graphitti figure had.

I like the figure, not the head. It's great as an interpretation of Hellboy but it just doesn't look like th comic to me. Just my opinion.

Just kidding, friends... :D

I really like it. Not perfect, but what can ye do? I think it's one of the better renditions as far as figures go, much better than the film figures. That large Graffitti figure's my fave I think.
I dig this though.
