Best Spider-Man Essential trades?

I'm putting a couple of Marvel Essential trades on my upcoming "want list", what are the top two or three to get for Spider-Man? I already have the first couple issues in an old Masterworks TPB.

Essential Spider-Man Volume 5 has some very good stuff, I'd highly recommended it.

My personal favortite are the first two. Nothing beats those classic stories like where Spiderman and the Human Torch fought the Green Goblin, or the first appearances of all those classic Spiderman villains.

They're all pretty good, just buy 'em in order.

The first 3 Volumes hands down, with excellent writing by Stan Lee, and art from Steve Ditko, and Jon Romita Sr. There were a lot of great stories in the later volumes, but overall they just weren't as good as the first 68 issues.
You may want to get the Barnes & Noble Masterworks editions instead of the first 2 Essentials (more expensive, but it's in color.)
