In the spirit of my earlier thread (Davie Davies, John Squire or David Gilmour) I present another thread about three guitarists and their respective bands for you to discuss. Like them? Dislike their bands? Don't know who they are?

Elliot Easton all the way; that guy is great. (Check out the solo on "You're All I've Got Tonight" and you'll see what I mean.)

I like all three, and I'm not sure who I actually like more. Hm, that'd be tough to decide.

Elliot Easton is probably my favorite of that batch - the Cars are among my favorite "fun" bands - but Andy Summers was probably the more technically skilled and almost certainly the most influential and innovative of the three.

Is it true that The Cars only went on two tours? If so, why such a reluctance to hit the road (pun intended)? Were they that bad a live act?

We need one of these threads with Steve Cropper in it.

I would completely say Graham Coxon as Blur USED to be about my favorite band (I really tried to, but didn't like their last 2 albums, Parklife may be my all time favorite album). Also his solo album kinda sucked.
This is a really hard one, because unlike the last one, neither of these guys were the driving force behind their bands.

i'll be the first to pick Andy Summers. and by a longshot really. especially considering he was with Soft Machine as well as the Police, and had a decent solo career. I also like his collaborations with Robert Fripp. I'm not really fond of Blur or the Cars, so this was a pretty easy choice for me.
