I think she's a pretty cool character and I know they want to keep her "street" look and all but I think she should settle on a newer, more iconic costume somewhere down the line.

I say she use the Ben Reilly Spiderman costume that May uses over in Spider-Girl.

NO! That's Mayday's costume, Arana can get her own.
Anyway, if Superboy can get away with jeans and T shirt, why can't she?

One of my favorite costumes of all time was Spider-Boy's, during the Amalgam age of comics.

I say we bring back Spider-Boy and let Arana sink or swim on her own! :p

Everytime I see Arana I just think to myself "they weren't even trying to design a costume, were they?"

No, her costume is fine for a Marvel Next character. And she's NOT a Spider-Girl, she's Arana, so why should she dress like Spider-Man?

She has armour, right? Why not use that? Unless that's the costume that's meant here. I've not been paying much attention to the solo. I thought the cover was her outfit.

It doesn't neccesarily have to have Spiderman's costume designs but just something better and more form fitting. For now she seems to have alot of freedom of movement with the street clothes costume bit it would be cool if she had a better one that was more simple yet classic/elegant in design.

Because the armour is just absolutely ludicrous-looking. There's a reason you don't see it in any of the Arana promo images: imagine the Guyver, with a hole cut out of the belly for no reason, and there you go.

Wonder Girl and Superboy both do/did fine in similar outfits.

Wonder Girl and Superboy both do/did fine in similar outfits.
Their outfits now aren't as chaotic as they were before since they are more simplified even with the street look Superboy has. I didn't mind his first appearance costume but the one he has now is pretty awesome since it's simple and cool at the same time.
