Defining Earth-2: Your Opinions, Please

I'm trying to write a rough draft of what will eventually be the introductory essay to my Collectors' Guide to Earth-2. Although that project is too far from completion to allow me to flesh the essay out with specifics, I have cobbled an outline together that hopefully touches all the bases. I thought I'd offer this preliminary outline here and ask you folks for some feedback. Ergo:

It looks great! I look forward to seeing the final version of this very much!

But since you're looking for suggestions rather than advance praise for the project, here are some things that you might want to consider:

Superhumans and Mystery Men: Shouldn't you mention the Super-Squad here? I don't remember if that was ever a formal designation in the actual comic book, but even if it wasn't, the name should be explained.

Religion: I'm sure Badhnesia will be covered under "Nations", but don't forget that it appears to have been something of a theocracy practicing a unique religion focused largely on Johnny Thunder! That might warrant a mention in section II.

The only thing that struck me on first glance was the ordering of the Super Groups. I realize that Infinity Inc. is the spiritual heir of the JSA, but I think a chronological ordering might be a little easier to understand, and is more consistent with what you're doing in the "History and Legend" section.

The only thing that came to mind was that a cuter name for "Beyond Earth-2" might be "Universe-2."

Well, that and my dislike for the entire Earth-2 concept (with all due respect to Gardner Fox). I like the JSA (and similar Golden-Age heroes) as pulp characters in the late 30s and 40s: after that, my interest flags fast.

But that's my problem.
