Chloe Savigny is apparently up to play the part of The Black Cat.

I´ve had my hopes up for Eliza Duskhu for the role of Black Cat and Venom for the villain.

I like Chloe Sevigny, but...as the Black Cat? Weird. She's really more of a Gwen type, isn't she?

Not to mention that including the Black Cat in a film that's already likely to have Goblin!Harry and/or the Lizard running around is going to make for one mighty crowded screen.

Hmm, I'm all for having Black Cat in the third movie, but I hope she's isn't the main villain, it just wouldn't seem right to me. Of course, it doesn't really say one way or another that she'd be the main villain, just a villain, and more than anything, I'd expect her to be on Spidey's side by the end of the movie. Either way, I'm still betting on Venom being the main event for Spider-Man 3.

Mark my words,they Spidey 3 villian won't be The Lizard,or Harry or Venom.It's gonna be Manwolf!
I mean,hello?John Jameson?Just got back from the moon?Did you see that jump he made at the end of Spidey 2 when MJ's being lowered down on the web-line?That's an effects shot.Humans can't get that kind of height from a vertical leap.
He's gonna turn into Manwolf and come after Peter for stealing MJ.

Man-Wolf would MAJORLY suck. Like I've said, Venom as the ONLY main villain and if there is going to be a secondary (but kinda on the side lines) villain, then Black Cat would kinda work...just not Elisha Dushku.

i personaly see these choices for a VIilain in Spider Man3:

Venom: Because jJhn DID bring back Alien DNA, and apparently Bruce Campbell is a undercover Eddie Brock.

Goblin: Henry. Though really be more interesting to see him cope, a she know sthe ruth. Dad was GOblin and bad. Spdier Man was Peter and good.

Black Cat; Not main villain. But to add toa lvoe triangle to complicate MJ and pete's life.

The Lizard: Here has been mention of Curt COnnors since first film, he even got a speaking role in 2! plus the Lizard was a villain who could physicaly dominate Spider Man. With no bombs or tentacles arms. But raw fist down. (Like Venom, just Lizard is not a Spidey clone.)

I only see the possibility of three villians

Venom- because it is possible that the DNA arived

Lizard- cause the doctor wasn't some no name actor it the second

Goblin- they wouldn't of had an ending like that in the 2nd if they were just going to forget the Goblin

none possibilitys

Black cat- it is to thick of a storyto tell. . . and everyone would react weird to Peter likeing a girl in one film. . . it took him a time laps of a time laps to even admit he liked Jane

These are just my thoughts. . . but in my head I would like to see Mary jane's career blow up get a part in a film and end up crossing paths with the disgruntled special effects guy (Misterio)

I'm thinking she's the only new villan. I'm guessing Goblin II will be the main villan.

Black Cat won't be the major villian, she'l be a supporting character who ends up hitting on Spider-man every time they meet. Jameson will either turn into venom or connors will turn into the lizard. And let's not forget Dushku will probably get the role, but sevigny has a smoking body and she can act, too.

More likely Harry as Green Goblin. Raimi said he wants to resolve the Harry, Peter and MJ story in the third movie. Throwing Venom or Lizard in there won't help.

Well most of the conversation on this thread was before Thomas Hayden Church was annouced as the next bad guy. They did try to get Black Cat into an early draft of Spider-man 2. So they might have seriously considered her for Part III.

What they meant was Peter will face Sandman and lose. Find the symbiot and totally kick ass but then eventually will discover that the symbiot is controling him or trying to and he'll discard it in t he bell tower where topher brock finds it and becomes venom to be continued

Bleh I still wish mysterio was a mini villian in it, to hell with blackcat.

Could be cool spiderman saves some girl in a real campy setup and bruce campbell is a cop being a real jerk to him because he "was about to make his move and stop the badguy before spidey messed it all up" and spidey swings off and in a alley he takes off his mask and its not toby mcguire its someone else and he trips over a trash can and sam raimi comes running out yelling "cut cut!" and out comes mysterio before he goes bad to reset the special effects for the scene. Then camera switches to a news reporter lady reporting from the set of the new spiderman movie, then it cuts to peter parker watching it on tv talking about how they messed up his costume.

Then after a small caper and quickly beating spidey he later fights him again and spidey defeats him but he barely crawls away murmurming something about coming back for him, just before hobgoblin enters the scene to throw down.

He could have been kind of like a mini boss in a game. He is there, throws out all his cool tricks and is gone.

I heard this too. I think its from something that they say Thomas Hayden Church said well that he has rumored to have said. That Grace doesn't become a bad guy till the end of the movie. Which makes you think that its going to end with Grace becoming Venom setting up Spider-man 4.
