Not very ironic when you know that many conservative people especially in Northern Florida are registered Democrats. It usually dates back to the "dixiecrat" days. The discrepancy between party registrations and votes for Bush were brought up by many people doubting the outcome of the 2004 elections, but in this case the explanation is really that simple.

Yup, in my neck of the woods, actually it's right around where i used to live.
Local radio guy got tons of calls the next day from people who claim he did the same thing to them during the weeks prior, just not as bad.
One guy claimed that the "remnant" of black eye you can see on his mug shot was his crafty work.

The actual ironic part is that this jackass was angry because she supported a President who was engaging in acts of aggression against a foreign power. So naturally the rational response is to try and run her and her children off the road. Oh, yeah, he cares about peace.

I know a guy around here who verbally berates people who still have their Kerry bumperstickers (although he doesn't, you know, initiate car chases). They should put these liberals and conservatives like these two guys on an island somewhere.
