Oh, god...

MUST HAVE.

See, right there is a good reason to put Dinah back in her old costume. That's the CANARY.

I think I may have just had a small heart-attack, or was that sympathetic pain for my bank account spontaneously combusting?

...*gasps*...can't...go on...without...Black Canary...on shelf! *clunk*

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I saw this in the ToyFair slideshow last month and was STUNNED!
(having been depressed after just seeing the Mattel action figure releases that didnt have her).

To make the month even better, the Krypto maquettes also come out!

Here's hoping Mattel makes a figure, and a 10inch vinyl figure [since these are based on DCD's maquette's scuplt wise, it increases the likely hood :) I know GreenArrow and Supergirl ones are planned for JLU]

That is so great. I love the way that costume looks. I don't care how much money I have. It will be my. Oh yes, it will be mine.

*looks around for Mike Myers* I think you got away with it... :p

Awesome Canary, BTW. But JLU isn't even on over here yet. :(

It JUST started here on Cartoon Network Friday before last, but I keep missing it because of stupid Daylight Saving and stupid work. *whimpers*

Either way, as soon as Comics Etc gets in their new shipment, that Canary is MINE.

What the raging funk monkey *is* a maquette...and how does it differ from say, a statue?!

It's based off the character designs used by the Animators- DCD and WB have made MANY for the various DC Animated properties [even a Fliescher Lois Lane!] and some Cartoon Network ones [PowerPuffGirls!]. Disney has also made similar items.

These are in reference to the Maquette models used by animators in some steps of the process for scaling/design purposes, giving a 3 dimensional representation of the animated character. DC's Maquette's are done in a similar style to these, slightly posed, but essentially a standard standing position.
