Ex Machina #9 - great series. I plan to switch to trades soon though.
Question #5 - great art on an ok series. I like the concept of the Question in Metropolis, but the execution has been too slow for my tastes. Still in for 4 issues, might as well get all 6.
Starman Vol.10 - is this the last one, or the second to last one? I know its close. Good stuff.
Hulk #79 - Man this story has been good. I can't believe PAD pulled off returning to this book and still keeps my interest.
waiting for trade

I have a few surprises on this week's list:
Definitley buying:
STAR WARS GENERAL GRIEVOUS #1 (OF 4)
STAR WARS VISIONARIES TP You know, I could have sworn this one wasn't due until April 2. Not that I'm complaining :)
Waiting for trade
LUCIFER #60 (MR)
Already have
TEZUKAS BUDDHA VOL 5 DEER PARK HC I got this about three weeks ago. Is this a supplimentary shipment or should I be looking for vol 6 this week instead?

There's a lot of stuff that I'm getting this week- my wallet is already moaning in agony. :)
Angeltown #5 - This has been a excellent crime series from Vertigo. I'm sad that its over with this issue.
Ex Machina #9
JLA #112 - I'm enjoying the heck out of this, and I'm thrilled to hear that Geoff Johns is writing the next arc of this book with Allan Heinberg. (Young Avengers)
Cable/Deadpool #13 - This book has been a lot of fun, Fabian Nicenza is criminally underrated.
Captain America #4 - Is this running late? It seems like it. Either way, Brubaker rocks. He might be the #1 writer in comics right now, IMO.
HULK #79 - I should add this to my pull list sooner or later.
Beta Ray Bill #3 - I'm buying this for the gorgeous Andrea Devito art. Besides that, it reads like a generic Superman story.
Ultimates 2 #4 - Maybe the best book in comics, as always. Last issue was great.
Wolverine #26
Young Avengers #2 - I havent read #1 yet, I'll read em both at once. I have a good feeling about this series.

ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #638 $2.50
And baby makes three. Matthew Clark's last issue. He's done an awesome job, but I'm WAY beyond psyched for Karl Kershel.

Part two of "Lights Out." This's been really really awesome.
WONDER WOMAN #214 $2.25
Part 2 of the crossover with THE FLASH!
LULLABY WISDOM SEEKER #1 (OF 4) $2.95
The art in this looks FANTASTIC! It's classic fairy tale characters by way of Final Fantasy. I LOVE the character designs! It's Alice, Jim Hawkins, Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood and the Pied Piper thrown into this anime/video game inspired fantasy world gone wrong. Image put out a 25 cent preview of this a month or so ago and I totally love the look and idea of this book. Newsarama's got a cool article here (http://www.newsarama.com/Road_Dec_04/Lullaby/Lullaby.htm) with some pages from the book and character shots to check out. Give it a look!
NOBLE CAUSES #8 $3.50
Yay!

Pharoah strikes! Really really dig this.

I'M SO PSYCHED FOR THIS!!! Seth Fisher and Ryan Sook draw the stories in this issue! It looks SOOO amazing!!! I've been wondering for the longest time what Seth Fisher has been up to, and now I see that he has this Spidey story AND a 5 part Mr. Freeze arc in LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT coming up! WOO!
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #74 $2.25

X-MEN AGE OF APOCALYPSE #3 (OF 6) $2.99
WOOOOOOO!!!! Totally loving this. :D Augie hit the nail on the head with his AoA assesment. Infact, wether he was doing so specifically or coincidentally, he was describing me exactly in last week's podcast. I came in with the cartoon, Joe Mad is my artgod and this is what I am celebrating. ^_~
HOPELESS SAVAGES B-SIDES ALL FLASHBACK SP ONE SHOT $2.99
BOOYAW!!! More Hopeless Savages!!! Supercool flashback special detailing the formation of Zero's band The Dusted Bunnies with art by DEMO's Becky Cloonan, FLIGHT's Vera Brosgol and QUEEN & COUNTRY's Mike Norton covering the band's members. Plus an AWESOME HS jam cover by previous HS artists Bryan Lee O'Malley and Christine Norrie! SWERVAL!!!
UDON DARKSTALKERS JOE VRIENS CVR B #4 $2.95
Alvin Lee rocks on this.

Tracie - You were one of the people I was thinking of with the AoA explanation. I can think of at least one other that I know, and sporadic anecdotal evidence from others that would support it.
I'm just happy to see that there's enough stuff coming out this week to force me back to the comics shop. Yay!

BURLYMAN ENTERTAINMENT
Shaolin Cowboy #2, $3.50
Purge #3 for 2005. While Darrow's art is out of this world, I found the over the top violence a bit too much for me to enjoy this comic book.
DARK HORSE COMICS
Star Wars General Grievous #1 (Of 4), $2.99
I love both Dixon and Leonardi so this gets the flip test. Will probably try and hold out for the inevitable trade.
DC COMICS
Birds Of Prey #80, $2.50
Last Benes issue. First part was good.
Ex Machina #9, $2.99
Just added to my pull list last month, but may switch to trades after the current arc is over.
IMAGE COMICS
Invincible #21, $2.95
Love this book. Currently get both the monthly and trades.
MARVEL COMICS
Ultimate Spider-Man #74, $2.25
Looking forward to seeing what is in that bunker.
Young Avengers #2, $2.99
I'm waffling on picking this up. Got #1 and loved Cheung's art. However, I've never been an Avengers fan and the last page reveal did nothing for me. May just wait for the trade.
