Son of Vulcan? Hmmm... sounds interesting

Day of Judgement and Rann/Thanagar War sounds like the more interesting of the Countdown minis. OMAC sounded good before I realised that Rucka is using his Sasha whoever character as a main character.

I'm kinda saddned that the cool sounding Dan Slott JLA story is being replaced by yet another Identity Crisis tie-in. Personally, I enjoyed Identity Crisis as a stand-alone story... but all these tie-ins are pissing me off. I'm about ready to declare Geoff Johns as a kareoke writer (using Cronin's terms (http://goodcomics.blogspot.com/2005/03/karaoke-comics.html) ).

Besides the titles I regularly pick up Superman/Batman looks cool so i might pick that up and I'll probably pick up BIRDS OF PREY #83 just because it ties in with OMAC project. I also wasn't interested in the Zatanna mini, but I'll probably pick it up now that I know a little more.

Detective Chimp guest stars???

Along with Ragman, Blue Devil, Enchantress and Nightmaster. Isn't that the best superhero line-up ever?! Man, I love 3rd tier and lower characters!

But no Rex the Wonder Dog. And he and Detective Chimp are friends too! Gah. Stupid monkey.

It says 5 issues.

I wish it was longer, but it sounds great.

I'm glad their releasing JSA: Black Reign, and Sandman Mystery Theatre Vol. 3: The Vamp. I've been looking forward to reading the next of volume Mystery Theatre released.

whoa it feels like crossover season is back again.. but its kinda different.. its like a lot of stories that has its own crossovers that all kinda link into one big story that has alot of crossovers. everything "ties into.." something..

edit: i just saw below there seems to be toys on animal superheroes to be based on a cartoon to be shown in CN.. i know krypto and ace.. but is streaky supposed to be a flash animal sidekick?

is streaky supposed to be a flash animal sidekick?

In the original, pre-Crisis continuity, Streaky was Supergirl's pet supercat.

Just a brief note to say that JLA looks great to me, too, and that I was disappointed to see that Son of Vulcan has absolutely nothing to do with the original Charlton hero (that in a Scott Beatty interview over at the Pulse).

Hmmmm. "The Red Hood has Onyx on her heels" HER heels. Hmmmmm

DC needs better editors. I think that was supposed to say:

"Onyx has the Red Hood on her heels"

Because the rest

" Can the Dark Knight get back to Gotham in time to save the urban heroine from the city's latest costumed psycho killer?"

Suggests that it's the Red Hood who is attacking Onyx.

For me it's
Batman: War Games act 2
Superman: Godfall (maybe, but only if I see it really cheap)
Trinity
Lucifer vol 8
WE3 - I'm a bit miffed that they're charging $13 for a book that reprints a 3 issue series, but I'll probably get this sooner or later

Oh, sign me the hell up for that!!! I knew that cover was the sign of something very cool. :D

Yeah, I wanted to mention that too. It's really helpful to have the last few months handy like that. Thanks, Jonah!

Oh, sign me the hell up for that!!! I knew that cover was the sign of something very cool. :DAnd art by Seth Fisher on top of that! How awesome is that?

It's a shame it's for a Mr. Freeze story, though. It seems like we've been getting 2-3 Mr. Freeze stories a month for the last two years straight. How the hell does Mr. Freeze, of all characters, merit that level of overexposure?

Here's a list what I plan on getting right now:

Adv. of Superman 641
Superman 218
Action 828
Lex Luthor: Man of Steel (waited until all four issues were out before reading)
AQUAMAN #31
BLOOD OF THE DEMON #4 (possibly, if two and maybe three are good enough)
BREACH #6 (am I the only one picking this up? It's good)
DAY OF VENGEANCE #3
FIRESTORM #14 (I buy it anyway, but it's also Stuart Moore's first issue)
THE FLASH #223
GREEN LANTERN #2 (giving it a three-issue shot)
JLA CLASSIFIED #8 & 9
JUSTICE LEAGUE ELITE #12 (I REALLY hope this comes back in some way)
JLA #115
JSA #74
LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #7
MANHUNTER #11
THE OMAC PROJECT #3
All of the Seven Soldiers books
SOLO #5 (taken over by Darwyn Cooke! Whoo!)
THE RANN/THANAGAR WAR #2
VILLAINS UNITED #2
ALBION #1
EX MACHINA #12
MAJESTIC #6 (possibly, depends on how well the current arc wraps up)

There are a few others that look interesting, but I think I'll wait for the trade on those, like MNEMOVORE, Otherworld, and Astro City.

Holy crap, that's a lot of books, and that's just DC. Damn those minis and new series.
