Here's my review of Armor X #1, which came out last Wednesday. It looks like a promising series, but also potentially a controversial one, because it deals with a protagonist in something of a Columbine, trench-coat mafia role. I didn't really get into the controversy idea in my review (trying to focus more on whether or not I think the book is GOOD), but I think it's an interesting subject.
Anybody take a look? What do you think? Can an unlikeable, even frightening protagonist carry a book for you?
(And isn't that what The Incredible Hulk has been doing for 40 years?)
(Oh, and if you wanna win some comics and original art, I've also got a free contest going just a little further down on the blog.)
