I am not a big Hulk fan... infact I only ever get a Hulk comic if its a guest appearance in someone elses comic or a team up, She-Hulk I don't mind but Hulk just turns me away. However, this game looks badass!
I love how much damage you can cause. Leaping across huge gaps... picking up busses... knocking people like 20 feet through the air!
I must have this game! I doubt it'll be as good as Spider-Man 2 or X-Men Legends but it still looks badass. I'll be picking this up along with Ultimate Spider-Man and X-Men Legends 2 this year for sure.

No doubt this looks great, perhaps even better than the first one which was awesome.

The only downside is I'll never be able to play on my gamecube... my nephew is 4 and still plays on Spider-Man 2 evey time he comes up but he prefers Hulk more. :p

Spider-man 2 is a good game, but the first one is even better.
Perhaps I am saying that because I don't web-swing very well and it takes me forever to catch the Black Cat, though.

Holy crap. Did you guys watch those 3 videos of the Hulkbuster fight? I was already sold on the game and was amused by all the city destruction.... but that Hulkbuster fight? Holy crap. It was like watching a real fight between a giant robot (mech) and Hulk. And he even caught one of the missiles out of the air, like in the movie!
I. Must. Have. This. Game!!!!
Oh and Steel, webswinging can take some time to get used to. But it's very fun once you can get it down. Just keep practicing and remember you can steer in the air. Also, depending on when you let go of your line determines if you'll go more vertical or horizontal. And the best trick to learn is to hit the wall-run button if you ever scrape against a wall in mid swing. That way, you won't instantly slam into it and slow down/stop, but keep your forward momentum.

Do you have to buy the wall run trick?
I had a challenge where I was supposed to run through a bunch of checkpoints on doing the wall run and I couldn't get it to work.
Thanks for the advice, Jo!

I'm at work right now and you guys have got me so pumped up for this game
I just want to tell people about it. Nobody would care here though.

I don't think you have to buy it. You just press one of the buttons when you're moving fast alongside the wall when on a web. I think it's the "wall grab" button, but it's been a while since I played.
Also, make sure you're using the regular webswinging option, not the easier one. It's harder to learn, but you have more control.

Yeah, I'm on the hard web swing setting.
I think that I am more of a smash and bash guy than a web swinger. I think that the Hulk 2 video is gonna suit me just fine.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you don't have to buy the wall run. On PS2 I think you just speed burst up a wall. R2 maybe.

I'm on the X-Box, but I am sure that it is similar.
Thanks

I think there is a wall run you can buy, but I think that is seperate to the wall run that you do while you're webswinging.
Anyway, this Hulk game is going to rule all other games before it!

Has anyone ever played the other Hulk games?
I liked the one for the Super Nintendo it was a side scroller and pretty easy to beat, but it had foot stomps and hand claps and such.
The Pantheon one for the Playstation kinda sucked, I thought.

Yeah, the one for Sega Genesis. It's probably the same one for Super Nintendo. I loved it!
The Pantheon was one of the first games on playstation I think. Horrible! I played that game for a couple of hours and that's it. Maybe got out of the base outside, and that's it.

That might be what I need to win that challenge.
If I can figure out how to run on the walls!
The Hulk doesn't need to run on walls, he just smashes them!

There is no possible way this game is going to suck. Based on the video footage already shown, this game rules above all else. It can only get BETTER, and by all accounts we ain't seen nothing yet.

I have to agree, that was pretty cool looking. seeing hulk take on the Hulk Busters was just too much fun watching.

Who is playing this on what?
I had a Playstation 2 for the first game, but that broke, so now I am on X-Box.
It would be cool if this was on X-Box Live and we could beat the crap out of each other!

Yeah, I have a PC and A Gamecube in addtion to that X-Box.
I'd be half tempted to pick up another PS2 just for the new Gran Turismo, that is a bad news game.

I've just watched the clip and the Hulk seems to have the same moves and animations as in the recent Hulk game for PS2. One improvement -- the Hulk moves a lot faster. Slow gameplay made the previous game a pain.
Well, that Spider-Man game was great, so... perhaps the free roam approach will work here, too. But I'm skeptical. Web-slinging is one thing, but jumping around looking for substations to enjoy? Not thrilling.

Yeah, hopefully, that is just a small part of the game though.
In Spider-man 2 the whole "Someone Hi-jacked a car!" and "That man is going to fall!" over and over got old fast.

I only just looked at those movies now and....
...wow...
I want to play this now. It has everything I was hoping to have in a sequel game that I didn't get in the first one.
It's got his leaping. It's got a scary abillity to inflict damage on his surroundings (he toppled a skyscraper!). The surrounding look alot more available to manipulate -- that trick with ripping the car in half was awesome! And the Hulkbuster fight, especially how he can grab onto the robot can pound away. I love it. And he growls!
I love the growls! The number one thing I wished I'd had in the first game was a button that would let you howl in rage. He was a little too quiet for my tastes.
I cannot wait to get this.

OK, Wow!
I just got to watch the video interview and I wish that this came out today.
I am just blown away.
Did you see the part where he was skateboarding on the bus?
Just too too much!
How about how they said where they listened to the feedback from the message boards?
There is no way that this isn't going to be the best.
The day that this comes out, I am asking off and I am going to lock myself in my room to play it!

I have been a Nintendo-only man when it comes to console gaming. It's all I ever needed and wanted. Been a long-time fan of Nintendo.
But this game is tempting me to buy a X-Box just so I can experience Hulk in high-definition (if the game supports anything higher than 480p).

Since PS2 is the most popular console and this hulk game isn't propietary to just one console, I think it's a safe bet!
