View Full Version : CAPCOM vs. SEGA Has Been Announced!

My ex-wife's boyfriend's sister's brother's son's friend's distant cousin said that CAPCOM and SEGA has announced this new upcoming fighter and it's release day will be out in the summer of 2006. He said that there are 10 characters confirmed so far, 5 from CAPCOM and 5 from SEGA:

CAPCOM side:
Ryu
Demitri
Dante
Viewtiful Joe
Saturn(Star Gladiator/Plasma Sword)

SEGA side:
Sonic
Jacky(Virtua Fighter)
Bahn(Fighting Vipers)
Vector Man
Axel(Streets Of Rage)

The game engine will be just like MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2's but, with the Guilty Gear's Sprites/Animation. The game will have a 6 button layout. The game will feature 3 vs. 3 battles, stages from various CAPCOM and SEGA, an actual story line, team supers, super jumping, hidden super moves, and instant death moves. More info will be posted within' the next month.

Damnit, I want that game NOW!

That sounds like Capcom will at last update their graphics and give the characters a well needed overhaul.

I cant wait playing Axel ^^

I only heard of Namco vs. Capcom being announced and it's not a fighting game it's a Rpg. it's going to have 100 characters from each company.

It isn't.

The game isn't Sega, It's Sammy VS. Capcom.

Pretty much think Guilty Gear VS. Capcom.

I was about to say how cool it would be to watch sonic bounce around taking out enemies as a special.

I'd rather have a Smash Bros. type game with Sega and Nintendo characters.
