I was wondering what were people favorite stories of X-characters in other seires. It can be a story with Wolverine or Magneto or even Deadpool the only rule is that please do not post stories from X-titles.

There was a great issue of Priest's Black Panther where Storm warned T'Challa aginst becoming a despot like Magneto (who also put in an appearance).

Iceman played a big role in Thor #377-379 that was pretty cool, I guess.
Any of Beast's Avengers appearances were great, of course.
Archangel's appearances in Dazzler and in Thunderbolts were pretty memorable.

what about Jean's RETURN FROM THE DEAD in Fantastic Four?

I highly recommend Iron Fist #15. Since it's by Claremont and Byrne, it almost comes across a "lost issue" of X-Men (albeit with less emphasis on the X-Men). Incredible Hulk #340 - the Wolverine-Hulk rematch with a brief cameo by other X-Men - is also good.

Agree wholeheartedly. She was written as incredibly compassionate and cool by Bendis. And Gaydos' art made her look great too.

More proof that she may join New Avengers, maybe.
Oh and hook up with Cap.

I'm not sure, she's too much associated with the X-Men to me. Same reason I can't ever see Scott as an Avenger.

Which is a problem for all the X-men characters, their development never moves away from the X-men, all the characters that did move away (Beast, Iceman, Angel, etc) just came back again. Obviously Scott would never move away from the X-men type teams as he is the X-men. When Jean returns (and I mean when), with Emma around she will not fit in at the mansion, moving to the Avengers would be a nice and rather unexpected move.

I think of Beast as an Avenger as well as an X-Man though.
Nocturne as an Avenger might be cool.

The best battle ever with Juggernaut was not in the X-books, but in Amazing Spider-Man #229-230. Go figure.

One of the runners-up is Juggernaut and Black Tom vs. Spider-Man and the X-Men in Marvel Team-Up #150.

I want to second the mention of Angel appearing in the Thunderbolts during the Graviton arc. It showed how much a flying character could kick butt.

Power Pack was the gateway drug leading to the X-books for me.
Dazzler, Dazzler #1-42, Beauty & the Beast #1-4
X-Men, Spider-Woman #37-38
X-Men, Avengers Annual #10
X-Men, Power Man & Iron Fist #65-66

4. Wolverine in Incredible Hulk #340 (an excellent violent battle by Peter David, and Todd Mcfarlane)
3. Beast in Avengers
2. Juggernaut in Amazing Spider-Man #229-230 (Simply one of the best comic books ever written.)
1. Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch in Avengers (They were once X-Men villains.)
