View Full Version : This forum makes my browser crash.

Frequently.

I'm on a Mac, OS X (10.2.4 I think), using Safari v. 1.0. While I'm browsing the forums, occasionally the browser will shut down for no reason other than I was browsing these forums (it hasn't happened on other sites.) It's not something that happens with any predictability, tho, so I'm not sure what the deal is exactly.

I have a similar set-up at home. And the same thing happens to me from time to time. I think it may be one of the ads that causes it, but I'm not sure which one.

I'm on OS 10.2.8 and haven't noticed... I haven't used Safari so much lately, though, so maybe it's a recent thing.

Okay, Safari just crashed while I was doing nothing else but browsing Rita's.

I think it may be one of the ads that causes it, but I'm not sure which one.yah, this was happening to me to, and i think it was caused by someone who had an animated nightcrawler avatar. i noticed it when my safari crashed several times during that ill-fated thread about using politically incorrect words...

Okay, Safari just crashed while I was doing nothing else but browsing Rita's.It happened to me so much, I finally downloaded Firefox. Not only does that solve the crash problem, but it's way better for formatting text on vBulletin sites.

Yeah, that was a major reason why I switched to Firefox for most of my browsing. I couldn't bring over my bookmarks, though.
