Still got a bug or two to work out of it, but it's pretty cool, eh?

I also forgot to make a set of "shoulders without duster", but who doesn't love the duster anyway?

I'll put up pics of one actual put together soon.

Oh Sweet! Will this be available in a PDF to print off :D

or is it one of a kind?

That's just great!

I'd love to make it a PDF, if...uh...

Somebody minds running me through it?

Call me "slow", but I'm still a computer illiterate for the most part!

Anybody mind giving me a quick tutorial? I'd love to send it out to you all as a PDF...

Do you have Adobe Acrobat (the full version)?

I suppose it doesn't have to be a PDF. Are you hosting a high resolution graphic file of the paper doll. That would be just as easily downloaded or e-mailed. PDF was just the first file type that popped into my head.

Thanks Kid C.

VERY COOL! :)

These are a few paperdoll/coloring books I collected in high school--
(The covers are wonderful, but they don't really reflect the beauty of the line-art dolls inside.)

Infamous Women
Messalina, Agrippina, Lucrezia Borgia, The Empress Woo, Catherine the Great, Catherinelde' Medici, Mata Hari, and many others, all with their exciting histories and loveliest dresses.
http://www.bellerophonbooks.com/women.htm

Great Women Paper Dolls
From Sappho, Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, and Pocahontas to Susan B. Anthony, Florence Nightingale, Golda Meir, etc., each with a lovely costume and a proper speech for the cause.
http://www.bellerophonbooks.com/women.htm

Alexander the Great
The moments of his life are illustated here, along with the golden relics of the people he conquered. His story is told by Professor John K. Anderson.
http://www.bellerophonbooks.com/ancient_greece.htm

A Coloring Book of Ancient India
Alexander to the 12th Century, from Sanchi, Barhut, and Sarnath with stories of Hindu gods and goddesses. Ride with Durga and dance with Siva. See Maya's dream and princesses playing.
http://www.bellerophonbooks.com/ancient_misc.htm

A Coloring Book of Ancient Rome
The art of imperial Rome is amongst the most glorious ever. All the Caesars - Julius to Septimius Severus, are here, with English and Latin text, and Chariot races, etc.

Speaking of paper arts, this is a neat little .gif of an Electra (in origami)--

An Electra rotating in a hand:

Building an Electra:
"A multitile object named 'Electra' consisting of 60 tiles is build, the little animation shows the work of two people in nearly one afternoon including a tea break."

I just love the paper doll idea! Can't wait to see it completed.

I've been wondering whether to ask someone to make a pattern for a Hellboy doll for stuffing. I'd print the pattern on fabric, sew it up and then stuff it with batting. Just the thing for keeping those big bad ole nightmares away!

Has anyone done anything like that? You have to allow for a 5/8ths" seam allowance all around the doll.

Thanks for the links, Jonell. I can't wait to check them out!

Oooo! That would be so cool Andrea!!!!

Hahhaha-- when I was little, I had this fabric doll from France that was Little Red Riding Hood on one end, then you would flip her over and move the skirt to reverse it and then it would be the grandmother in a blue night dress. And then if you turned the grandmother around and moved her nightcap over her face, it would be the Big Bad Wolf in Grandmother's clothes. Man, that was a pretty cool doll!

My maternal Grandmother had one of those Red Riding Hood dolls, in her "toy closet" where we kids would spend most of our time when visiting her house. I wasn't a doll fan, but it was a cool toy. The original Transformer!

I never thought of it that way!! Yeah!!

kid cthulhu, if you ever do one for Abe (or the rest of the crew), you could have a whole collection. (It really does look cool!)

Once I get replacement ink for my printer, I'm going to print it and try it :)

R.Uh, it's the original word for doll until the famous incident of 1632 when the king misspelled the word and had two people put to death for giving him crap about it. Everyone started using doll instead of dool. :D

It's a masculine friendly word for doll:

cool doll = dool.

Great job Kid C. Do you care if we print out the large pic and make our own? What type of paper would you recommend?

Yeah i did... I have a "left hand of doom" thnx to my stupidness but... A Paper Hellboy's a paper Hellboy. :D I had some problems with his legs and hands- mainly becouse of my lack of talent and shaking hands but it seems that some of the "white-glue-me-parts" ought to be cut a bit so that everything fits. Still- VERY nice work!! I had some reall good time!
