to describe it, awesome. i like how beast has stepped up. Jack is the most powerful character now due to the movie, but we never get to see it bc he is banished.
I dunno. What could Beast have done to Jack if fame really does equal power? If Snow could survive having her brains blown out, could they have even harmed Jack if they wanted?
And from what we've known of Jack before this, his competence in pulling off this caper was out of character.
It's a neat story, but those two things kind of bug me.
Good to see that Beast is fully functioning as the sherriff, and that Fly is back where he wants to be.

he really should become the most powerful character, i would have liked to have that played with but it can not be now. and they did address the problem in the issue
as far as pulling the caper off, he has pulled some off before. also this caper fell through for him at the end like most of the rest

i wonder why he got written out so early though.... of course this doesn't mean Jack will never appear again.. but should there be another battle of Fabletown or something, i guess we won't be seeing Jack anymore... which is a shame, really

I kinda like the fact that Willingham wasn't afraid to take a major character (to this point) and send him packing without any warning. Sure , he could have Jack linger on, or make cameo appearances, but a well-crafted tale doesn't rely on such hokey-ness.He swings the hammer, so to speak, and moves on. Well done !

I'm guessing this could be a setup for him to run into Bigby somewhere out there. I'd also like to think that Beast can now use Jack as one of his secret agents out in the mundy world the same way that Bigby had other Fables set up. I can definetly see Beast calling in a favor somewhere down the line and threating to bring Jack back in if he doesn't cooperate.
Nope, there's definetly plenty of tales about Jack to still be told.

Wasn't this story set 5 years into the future? Unless I read that wrong, it was. There's still possibilities for Jack.

Oh yeah, here's another question: Does issues 36 pick up after this issue or does it go back to right after 33?

At the end it said that it was going to look into what was going on as Jack was making his movies, so I assume it'll pick up after 33 but around the same time as parts of 34.

So -- if Jack is immensly powerful now, why not go back and kick the Adversary's ass?

Well no, just because he's nigh unkillable, doesn't mean he can't be pinned to the wall and cut millions of times in eternal torture.
Jack has no Magic powers, he's just a dude. The nature (as far as I can tell) of the whole "Belief = Power" is more along the lines of, "as long as the Mundies believe, there has to be something to belive in".
EX: Since there is only one Snow White, she had to heal after getting he head blown open, because there has to be a Snow White.
When the Three Little Pigs went Animal Farm and got their heads cut off, realilty set in, because the rule is, "there must be three little pigs" so coinicendly the Three Giants are turned into Pigs, filling the Void.
After Boo Bear got Iced, Momma Bear is almost imeditatly Pregnaut, because there has to be a Baby Bear. Doesn't matter if it's the same Baby Bear or not.
so Jack is Immortal in the same way Snow White is, if he's mortaly wounded, he'll bounce back because there has to be a Jack. All though, Jack in his nature is a bit Generic, so if some other dude named Jack becomes Jack's ward and takes up the mantle after Jack1 is killed off, there would still be a Jack of the Tales and the void would be filled so Jack1 would still be dead.
Everyone understand a lick of that?
