With All-Star Superman, Batman, and Robin coming between July and September, who thinks that they will eat the competition alive in terms of
sales?

batman will, as for superman - as much as I would love it to (and trust me i'll be getting it) I think it will be top 5 throughout the run

Very hard to tell. Superman will be written by Grant Morrison, and Batman by Frank "I hate Superman" Miller.

Frank Miller ?? Wth ?? That's the first I've heard of that ....I'd read it was Loeb and Lee again . Personally , I'm looking forward to Quitely's Supes . I dunno when it happened but Quitely's work has grown on me .

They'll definately be hot sellers. They'll be DC's "Astonishing X-Men" in terms of popularity and sales, I bet...unless something goes horribly wrong.

It will be Frank "Batman will always beat the crap out of Superman" Miller (damn him) and Jim Lee.

Of course he will. If Batman couldn't beat the crap out of Superman he wouldn't be fighting him in the first place

In terms of sales, I think it's going to be Miller/Lee on Batman easy over Morrison/Quitely on Superman. Frank Miller is Frank Miller, and while I like Quitely much more, it's undeniable that Lee is the more popular artist.
In terms of expectations I'm looking forward to Superman a LOT more. Morrison and Quitely, Ah...Peanut Butter and Jelly....

Of course... Superman should vaporize him with a HV blast. But that's another story.
Getting back into topic, it will be interesting to see how Lee draws Miller stories, I think. But hell, I'm so waiting Superman by Morrison and Quitely...

Anyone seen the new Wizard cover with art by Quitely and Lee? It's like Sergio Aragones and Bryan Hitch doing a mash-up: seems distinctly weird and out of place.
Quitely seems to have reigned his art in a bit, and is going for softer, cleaner lines on the cover.
Quitely and Lee, whoda thought?

I agree. Probably why I'm looking forward to All-Star Batman just a tad bit more than All-Star Superman. Not by much though.

I'm looking forward to ALL-STAR SUPERMAN by a pretty big margin, but I don't think there's any question that ALL-STAR BATMAN is going to dominate in terms of sales. Both Miller and Lee sold bucketloads of comics the last time they did Batman, in spite of mixed reviews in both cases, so I can't imagine that putting them together will yield any different results.

Although I'm not looking forward to this comic, I admit I'd like to see a few pages, just to see how will that come out.

He can always get his hands on some magic goodies and kick the crap out of Supes that way.

There are a few ways Bats can take out Superman, and not all of them involve Kryptonite. All of them, however, do involve prep time, but that should be a given in this case.
As for the titles, I think Batman will definetly sell more, but I am looking forward to Superman more. I am still getting both of them though, so who cares? :D

I'll be looking forward to ALL STAR Superman myself...
Lets face it, we NEED an ALL STAR Superman because Berganza and Co. don't know who or what the regular continuity Superman is or who he should be...
Batman on the other hand has been handled with at least some reverence and has a characterization that remains the same throughout his titles (and sub-titles)...
Here's another small piece from Morrison on his ALL STAR Superman along with a few pictures from Quietly's sketch book. His Clark Kent is astounding:

Agreed. And those are only *sketches*. I guess that Superman won't die in the end... I don't know.
EDIT: DAMN THAT MAN WHO PULLED THE PLUG ON THE SUPERMAN 2000 PROJECT. DAMN HIM TO HELL!!!!
