Lately, I've been getting this message whenever I get on CBR. For instance, I click on a thread, it takes a while to load, then I get a prompt window that says that forums.comicbookresources.com could not be found. But I click on that same exact thread again, it goes straight to it.
Is it on my side? 'Cause that seems weird because it never happens anywhere else.
I've had no problems so I have to assume it's more on your end of things; quite possibly your ISP.

Apparently there have been some intermittent problems with the forums, but I'm not sure what they are. We're investigating now. I did just reboot the server when I couldn't get in.

OK, it happened again. This time we were able to determine there was a runaway apache (web server) request that was eating up huge amounts of memory. It was actually someone clicking on the Rita's thread on the community forum to be precise. BUT, even as large as that thread is, it shouldn't have caused those types of problems.
We sort of need to wait and see what happens when we catch it a second time before taking any action. It's one of a handful of possible problems and we need a bit more information first before proceeding.

Could this be a result of TechTV's Screensaver's review being reaired? Bunch a people getting directed to some spot from that website?
Just a thought, since I remember it being on recently.

Last Friday or the one before that, and re-run who knows how many times. I distinctly remember them discussing the Incredibles Vs. Fantastic Four fight with the site clearly shown.

I'll have to look for some torrents of those past shows and see if I can find it. If anyone knows the exact day, drop me a line.

Same thing happend to me alot. At home and at work so it's two different ISPs. I'll click on a thread and it will take a long time to start loading, sometimes minutes. Sometimes it won't load at all until I click it again. When it starts doing that I just minimize the window and check periodically to see if its finally loaded.

Likewise, I've been having trouble at both my home and school.
