I have a long trip coming up in two months and was wondering if I would like posion elves. I would like to pick up TPB of the seris. My general intrests inculde if you have not read my sig include mists of avalon and if you have read my posts stuff like Shuck the Sulfurstar. If there is any other indie that you think I might enjoy please feel free to say so.

You may, Dee, you may, but just be aware, some of the earlier books or trades, are much different from the current ones, the styles of writing are different and I assume, it may be a guess as to which one you like. The grittier ones are the earlier books. I think the book has always been black and white and women may be strong, but usually dressed provocatively. There is also cursing in the book.

It's a strong book, but it may take more than one trade to get to like it.

Thanks alot Mgs. A friend of mine recommended it for me a few years ago. I really don't mind grim and gritty as long as there is a point. I certainly do not mind foul language in the least bit. So it might be worth a shot I think i'll pick up some new and old stuff to see which I'll like better.

I have read various issues and liked what I have read. I am looking to pick up a few trades myself.

I read the TPB collection The Mulehide Years recently, and I was quite impressed. The book collects the earliest Poison Elves stories originally self-published under the name Mulehide Graphics. It's a fun, fantasy filled adventure that has a slight satirical edge.
