I've just read a chapter of a manga about a dog that can turn itself into a girl and its relationship with the coolest boy in school. The thing is, the boy knows she's a dog and he's OK with it!
This is why I love the Japanese: they're masters of the concept.

Takahashi did a short like that once years ago . Ony the boy was the dog going out with a girl. ( He changed by getting nose bleeds )

The AMericna cinema beat that concept though.
Only if was a dude who turned into a dog.
Kept a secre,t latter tohugh the pouplar girl found out, and it was cool.
I think it was one of those lame DIsney movies (Live action)

Now, high concept for that would be if the nosebleeds are because of a brain tumor and if the dog stays a boy he'll die! But he does anyway because he loves the girl. And he dies. Very sad.

this reminds me of those wierd american movies in the 80's i think.
one was were a girl was a manicen (big doll that u put clothes on) and she would come to life. its a romance and the bad guys were tryent o chop her up.
then there was a girl angel and so forth.

The title of this thread reminds me of when we saw Suicide Club at one of the anime clubs on campus. One of the people at club, the guy that really annoys everyone, left early. I think his mom was picking him up early again. (Yes, he acutally admited that quite loudly one night. Ugh.) As he goes out in the middle of the movie he proclaims, "The Japanese are sick puppies!" I replied, "That's why we love 'em."

That sounds like an old British TV series called "Woof."

Well, think about it. Dog is man's best friend. Wouldn't you want a woman who has the best qualities of a dog? Loyal, frisky, willing to let you boss them around, able to lick their own... *nosebleed* wait, where was I going with this?

Now that I think about it.
I require linkage to this manga so that I can determine its potential.

Hey, some people find the ass rubbing to be a turn-on. As for the other things, I said the BEST qualities of a dog, not the worst. Believe me, I own a dog, I know how bad they can get.

The Shaggy Dog? Yeah Dizney came out with that. . . LONG time ago, I think it was the sixties or seventies. They also made two sequals, one a few years afterward, and the third in the 90's or so (When Disney started doing their For TV movie kick.)

Well, the Japanese concept is lost on a lot of people. I got into anime and manga about 5 years ago and never looked back. My mom thinks I'm crazy when I buy manga and anime, but I just can't get enough of it.

I just saw episode three of CROMARTIE HIGH SCHOOL. The humming episode.
Yeah, they're nuts. But they're entertaining nuts.
yes, they are insane, but books like Reality Check have come out before too. ;)

Not sure what you mean by that. Reality Check is actually an American made comic. Can't tell if you mean that in your reply. Also, it's by the voice of Gir on Zim. Now Zim and Johnny and Lenore, now there are some insane US books and animation.

Yeah they are! I can't believe that a girl would say that stuff about her b/f. F*ckin hilarious! That teacher has got to have some REALLY "interesting" days.

yeah, i know, i think he's cool and all! :)
what i think i meant was from the original post about the dog into a girl and all, and how catreece was a cat, but attractive female lyncrathrope and all even after the boy discovers this, people still think she's in costume and still go for her. so, it's not just japanese who are insane, it's americans too! :D

Really, I don't think this thread needed anything after the title except, "But Koreans are even crazier!" I love Asian culture, it makes no sense half the time but it's so awesome.
