Carlos Meglia's art looks awesome! I read that he did pencils on Action Comics and Adv of Superman. I don't remember his run on either of those books. Does anyone know when he was on them? Was he a guest penciller or a regular artist?

he was a guest penciller well over a year ago i believe, one of his stories was the CSA cross-over. he was also almost universally reviled, especially by the posters on the DC boards. here are some of the tamer examples.

i'm surprised that DC is giving a hardcover to an artist like Meglia, who doesn't seem as popular here as he is in Europe and South America, but i'm pretty glad they did.

There's a great interview with the author and beautiful artwork on CBR today.

The art is unbelievable. Really amazing stuff. Very "Iron Giant"ish in my book ...

hey, thanks for the heads up about the forum links and interview! from the Previews solicts, his artwork looks cool. same goes for the pics in the interview. up until the news about Infinity City hit, i hadn't heard of Meglia and I'm a regular reader of Superman. shows you how well i pay attention.
anyway...thanks for the info. i guess i'll wait and see what the book looks like before i decide to get it. esp with that cover price!

This is living proof that coloring does a change between one comic and another, when the artist is the same. I didn't complaio about Meglia's art back in the Action/Adventure issues, but I didn't find it exactly good either. Now, in Infinite City, I think it has improved.

I enjoyed it a lot. Good fun. Although I'm not keen on the robot idea, those of you who've read the story will know what I mean...
