LOL!
Man, this board looks sad, now.
The only two threads we've got are Augie plugging tomorrow's Pipeline, and then the "Kiss Tracie's Undeserving Ass" thread. ^_^;
Get the weekly comics listings up, Diamond! Hurry!
:P

Point of information: Am I plugging or pimping with that thread? I should start a poll.
And your ass is NOT undeserving. Wait. Perhaps I should rephrase that... You're better than you think you are. Yeah, that's better.

Kevin is the BOMB!!
And it is totally going to take me forever to get used to seeing "Kevhines" rather than "BitterGuy".
...So if I repeatedly have to ask who the heck you are, don't take it personal.

"KevHines" is really Jeff's new pseudonym. Ah, what a bunch of cut-ups we all are.
-Ralph
I'd like to point out that Tracie has excellent taste in music.
One of her less known finer qualities, but still fine nonetheless.

Ah..Hello? Is this tough times? It is? Good. Yeah, hey it's Kevin. Kevin Hines. We've met. Yeah...I know...you've met everyone. Ok....right.....oh thanks. Yeah it is a new shirt......anyway I called about Tracie.....yeah....she is great I agree....so what say you leave her alone?.....oh no, not just me. I know of a bunch of people that would agree......ok....well get on that.....alright. I have to get back to work and finish this post. Bye.
Well - I talked to him. Hopefully he will move on.

Well Augie makes it sound like you are going through some tough times. That sucks.
I appreciate the sympathy (and thanks for placing that call :p ). At the moment it's less "my" hard times (though there's always SOMETHING), as it is the hard times of those very dear to me... which I then soak up like a sponge and get consumed by. Because it's fun.
You are very sweet and it is my Pipeline Pals who *I* appreciate.
You are all the bomb.
Augie De Blieck Jr.

Crap. If we're all The Bomb, then one minor explosion could set us all off...
Back in high school, I used to joke during a Teachers Meeting after school that one hand grenade would cancel school for the rest of the year. Ah, those were different times back then. Say that today and you'll be expelled.
Damn you, Dylan and Eric!
Seriously though, Tracie, we're hear to chat on the silly matters of the day to keep your mind off the harsher things, anytime you like. If you want to discuss the serious things, I would suggest BronteJD. She's probably better at that than the rest of us. ;-)

I appreciate Tracie, if only because she probably has more teeth than I do.
-Augie
Maukingbird
08-29-2004, 05:02 PM
I dunno about that. I had teeth pulled years ago when I got braces, so they'd space out better.
I don't remember if they pulled 2 or 4, though, strangely. Apon counting, just now, I have 28 teeth.
Augie De Blieck Jr.
08-29-2004, 05:36 PM
Heh, the braces are one of the reasons I needed to get these teeth out. My front teeth are bunched together just a bit. I've always wanted to straighten them back out, to which the dentist said I didn't have the room.
Oh, but I have the room now, baby! Oh, yeah! But, is it really a good idea to be 28 or 29 and wearing braces? UGH
And I think I would be down to 27 teeth. So you still win.

-Augie
i see ladies in their 50s with them on a regular basis... you shouldn worry too much ;)
~josh
seriously, i mean, I can see how it would be embarassing, but what's the alternative, have crooked teeth. In today's time and age, where makeovers reign and 50 year olds can get boob jobs, men can replace their hair and 15 year olds are getting nose jobs!, nevermind braces, I think you are safe. ;)
And I think I would be down to 27 teeth.
26 teeth here. With me, too, all an issue of making room.
Getting a tooth pulled, never the funnest of things to do. ;)

The Purge thread isn't a bummer - it's a liberation. We, the readers, are taking control back of our comics!
Why, I had a short stack of comics yesterday, but I was very very happy with them. I think there were only two series in the stack that I was behind my reading on. I can't wait till the new year when every week is like that.
But it's good to have you around, Tracie.

And getting my postcard in the mail, today, for SDCC has me excited all over again for July! (here's hoping I actually book things more than a month before going)
Ack! that reminds me! I haven't sent SDCC my address change! (I moved at the beginning of December). I'll probably have to skip the con this year, but I still love getting their updates.
I appreciate Mauk for helping me keep my personal and professional contacts in order <G>

*BUMP*
It's been a while since anyone has taken the time to tell Tracie how much we appreciate her!

I am deeply and personally ashamed by this. I only hope Tracie can find it in her heart to forgive me. I've led my flock astray. Thanks for thinking, Trip!
-Augie, appreciates Tracie
