On today's Comics Continuum (http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0502/25/index.htm). Due out May 24. Great news (although I am still awaiting delivery of Volume 2). At this rate, the 4th Volume (the one I haven't seen apart from the World's Finest story which was released on video in the UK) will be out before the end of the year & they can start putting out Justice League series sets.

Man, I got to start saving up fast. Between Volume 2 and a book, cd, video, game shopping spree that I went on I'm broke.

Still cool news though. After they finish all the Batman I can finally work on the Superman ones.

Not yet. I'm hoping this summer. Some of my favorite episodes are in that set.

Not until X-Mas for Superman? That's terrible, they're half the size of the Batman ones and are taking twice as long to come out?

Anyway, I'm REALLY happy that volume 3 will have commentary on "House and Garden"...one of my favorite episodes...and a very underrated one.

Thanks for the update Steve.

Thats one heck of a long wait. Almost a full year between Volume 1, and Volume 2. Oh well, guess I'll just have to deal with it.

With the long-awaited new feature film, Superman Returns, being aimed at a June 2006 theatrical debut, the folks at Warner want to spend the next year carefully setting up tie-ins that will help boost the awareness of this film. Toward that end, they've set up a tentative schedule that shows a Superman: The Animated Series - Volume 2 release in the Christmas 2005 timeframe, probably in December. And then Superman: The Animated Series - Volume 3 would hit in June 2006, just in time to tie in with the film.
