We're finally starting to get that long awaited "Show us your cleavage" thread.
And the problem with this is what, exactly?
Noah Johnson
11-14-2005, 01:59 PM
Yeah, that's kind of what I was getting at. Along with the whole "it's a cartoon" thing.
You know, we've got an entire thread going on about finding fictional characters sexy... is everyone in it crazy?
As to the underage thing... if someone was actually capable of going "That's a sexy cartoon character, and thank goodness she's 18 imaginary years old instead of 15 imaginary years old, because that would just be weird"... I'd worry about that guy. I mean, imaginary character either way.

I'd post a cleavage shot, but for two problems:
1. I ain't got none (well, not yet anyway). Not being modest, just honest. AA's aren't conducive to cleavage shots.
2. My wife is already a bit . . . peeved at me for posting anything in the first place.
That said, I very much appreciate those cleavage shots posted by Ms. Spring and Nikki and YoursTruly. I have thoroughly inspected them for . . . comparison purposes.

That picture, among a few others, is just going to keep resurfacing, isn't it? Even though my head is in quite a precarious spot, I still like the picture because everyone is so damn happy in it. Besides the good company, I think the world's most delicious fish and chips might have something to do with it. Maybe the copious amount of alcohol too. Maybe.
EDIT: Tomorrow is picture day at the school. In the past two years I've been a teacher, I've yet to take a good picture. Actually, I'm not a fan of a lof of pictures I'm in. Don't get me wrong. When I'm on, I'm on. So many pictures of me come off making me look more bloated, paler, and balder than I think I actually am. If the pictures turn out anywhere near good, I'll put one up here.

It's just the flash from the camera. It makes everybody look like crap. Makes ya look bloated because the flash takes away all the shadows that add contour and definition to your face. Paler because the flash bounces off all the oil on your skin and bleaches you out. Balder because... because I'm sure it does something about that too... really. :p

This whole false modesty thing is getting old. You and your wife are both lovely.
See, I was pretty sure she was being too hard on herself, but that seals it.
You are beautiful, Gilda, and don't let anyone, even yourself, tell you otherwise.
And your wife wouldn't happen to be a firethrowing mutant from another reality, hmm? ;) :p

Well, chalk that up as one more improvement over the last place I posted regularly. :)
Geez, who are you, the Unabomber or something?
Nah, just an easy target, both literally and figuratively. There are people out there who find the existence of transsexuals repugnant, and the wife would prefer that I not put out information that would enable them to locate and identify me. Unless you happen to work with me or live in my neighborhood, I doubt it's much of a risk, but she prefers to err on the side of caution.

Nubly's post didn't bother me in the least, and I don't think there was anything offensive in it, nor do I expect it was meant to offend. He explained what he was confused about and asked for clarification. As I had already identified myself as trans, asking for clarity wasn't rude. The only problem was with the terminology used. "Female transexual" is ambiguous, as it doesn't really indicate whether the person began or ended as a female. The proper term is male-to-female transsexual, usually abbreviated MTF. Or even better, and the one I prefer, woman.

HomerJay,
Your daughter has gorgeous eyes.
Thanx!
I'm not quite sure where she got them as her mom has green eyes and as you can see, I'm dark enough to often be mistaken for Greek or Italian.
There's a few more pics of her in the "pic of your pride" thread.

damn. you did lose a good amount of bodyweight. i hope you did it appropriately so you dont gain the weight back
thanks you two. . .
but I honestly think it's more of an issue of "flattering clothing" in the newer pics, and terrible angle/pose in the San Diego one.
Nubly, I dropped 15 lbs in just over 4 weeks. . . and I did it thru diet and exercize. . so I think it will stick. That said, I haven't weighed myself since Thanksgiving morning, and tomorrow is a "weigh day". . so I shall see how much I added by indulging during Thanksgiving weekend.
(although I DID do a half hour walk each day last weekend too).

Kids are cute too.

Heh. . that's only TWO of em. The lil boy has an identical twin (who was out back), and the little girl has a younger sister.
They aren't my kids tho, thier Nick's Niece's kids (his Sister has two children, and one of the two children has 4 kids)
by the way . thanks Lena and Nathan for the compliment. I still think I need to drop another 20 lbs.. but at least I was at 16lb loss yesterday.

You look good bert - BTW, are you "Uncle Bert" to Nick's niece and nephew?
The slow-down of the ole metabolism in middel age kinda sucks doesn't it?
I've found eating more whole grains helps my body get rid of fat. I try to eat oatmeal or cereal for breakfast, and a sandwich with whole grain at lunch, and then my wife makes sure the starch at dinner is made of whole grain. I've dropped 15 pounds and really didn't change the amount of carbs I take in, just the nature of them..
I gained some weight back over Thanksgiving - but I ate a lot of pie too . . heh :o
Here's an old picture of me taken almost twenty years ago. I used to inspect LORAN communication towers as a Coast Guard engineer. This one was in Cape Race Newfoundland and I'm about 1300 feet up.

I've lost about 10 pounds since then(and my hair looks a lot better now than it did then. It's also blond naturally, so I'm unsure why it looks so brown in the photo), so yeah...
A little more recently, but still some months back:
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/3870/jared0kc.th.jpg (http://img120.imageshack.us/my.php?image=jared0kc.jpg)
Unfortunately, I have no full-body photos(and that's a shame, as my legs are one of my few features I actually LIKE). Ah well.
For some reason, the angle of that pic makes me look like I'm wearing a bra or something, another reason why I don't like being in any pictures.
