The next day -as I recieved a total of 0 hours of sleep- I was apparently "behaving like a drunkard".

So yes, it would seem that Scottish people do deprive themselves of sleep.

I'm not sure where you grew up, but it's not at all unusual for it to snow here for Easter.

I remember my dad never wore shorts, even in the summer. Then, he retired in 1993 and all of a sudden, that's all he wears. Shorts, those shoes you don't have to tie and a sport shirt (pretty much like Win's dad!).

I agree with the old fart thing about weddings and funerals. When I was at a friends wake and some people came in tshirts, shorts and fannie packs carrying water bottles, I was a little miffed. It's a me thing but COME ON! this isn't a tour of the snake pit at the State Fair.

And for what it's worth, I've always been a southerner and wore long pants in the summer mostly because I was a huge rock and roll fan and never saw KISS or Led Zepplin wear shorts. No one send pics to prove me wrong.
