On his website www.Micheal-Shane.com , Shane wrote about his good friend Frankie Kazaian leaving. Shane praised Kazarian and thier team. He also told him to not feel guilty about leaving the Team and him. That he Is responsible for his career.
I have to say that Shane , Kazarian and others have acted with a lot of class and respect. Reminds me when guys would leave ECW when they felt It was time. They always said good-bye and did It classy. Shane has said one day the 2 will meet up again.....
Backstage at the TNA PPV last week was Mideon (Dennis Knight) , Apolo , and CM Punk! Wow...thats a shocker. Guess thier gonna try and bring Punk In again.
Shane Douglas has been added up to a new layer backstage. He now deals with Talent Relations. It won't shock me at all to see Douglas being made head booker at some point down the line. He's gaining more and more duties backstage. If I was Dusty Rhodes....I'd watch. ;)
Traci Brooks wrote on her website as well wishing Frankie Kazarian good things ahead. She does say that guys will miss him backstage .
TNA Impact will debut on Eurosport next week starting thier trial run.
Frankie Kazarian, Glen Gilbertti , and Alex Shelley's bio's have been removed from tnawrestling.com now. Tryton's ( ??) has been added.
Here Is the Up to Date Card for TNA:Destination X
Jeff Jarrett vs Diamond Dallas Page : NWA World Title .
Put the Title on Page. I think Its time. DDP seems to get the best reactions from fans and It would be good to see him go over completeing his comeback from that bad back Injury In 2001.
A.J Styles vs TBA : Ultimate X Match! ( Odds are Its gonna be Daniels. But I'll pull for Punk as well. TNA Usually makes these Ultimate X Matches , Fatal 3 ways.)
Kevin Nash vs The New Age Outlaw : No DQ Match. ( The WWE forgot to keep the trademarks up on New Age Outlaws. Thier loss...)
Abyss vs Jeff Hardy: Falls Count Anywhere: ( How much more can Hardy take at this point? Guy looks like sh-t. Abyss will kill him.)
Dustin Rhodes vs Raven: Bullrope Match ( Raven won at the last PPV. God...they need to push this guy and quit lettin Dusty's relatives and friends ruin things.)
Team Traci ( Harris Brothers ) vs Team Trinity ( Phi-Beta Slam). ( See what I wrote above. Dusty's 2 fat fishing buddies. God willing Douglas assumes more power fast backstage and axes all this dead wieght )
As reported on the Smackdown Thread , Johnny Swinger has signed a WWE deal. I'm pretty happy. I always felt Swinger had a good look and all to be a decent mid-carder. He needs mic skills n all. Odds are he'll get them by working there.

This is a lineup that would challenge WWE ?
Same old crap from TNA ..
We'll see "Triple H" Jarrett retaining the title yet again ....
New age outlaws ? Hahaha , the reformation of the worse of the DX , that fat dog BG James , Mr ass & x-crap. I'm sure "big , slow and ponderous "Kevin Nash will have a field day.
Dustin Rhodes vs Raven , c'mon his fat pig dad Dusty Rhodes should come down and give a bionic elbow to Raven and job him to his son.
Naked Mideon should make his debut for TNA. C'mon , we all want to see Naked Mideon. :D

Odds are thier gonna shake more things up. The lineup for TNA:Against All Odds changed a lot besides the Jarrett/Nash Main Event. But Its a free month without WWE PPV's. So I'm sure TNA will do more.
Love to see Page win this. He was always one of my favorites for some odd reason. Its a shame his WWF run died like It did. (damn Taker.... :evilangry )

i really don't look forward to the return of cm punk, i've seen plenty of his matches and don't see why people think he is so great. overrated if you ask me. i hope to god jarrett loses the belt, but even if he did i guess it would just lead to a longer fued with jarrett winning the title again.

Jarrett is the triple H of TNA , I think Jarrett's TNA belt has some small stamp on the back on the belt should anyone wins it other than Jarrett that says "On Loan from Jeff Jarrett" , likewise from Triple H with his world title belt that has unwritten clauses that says that the belt must eventually goes back to him.

HAH!
Punk vs Hero 75 minute TLC match
Punk vs Hero 90 minute 2/3 falls match
Punk vs Hero 60 minute match pt 1-47
Punk vs Joe I, II, and III, first two 60 minute draws, all building upon one another and carefully made to tell one of the greatest stories ever told in the ring. Even Steamboat himself compared the series to his classics with Flair. He is just about THE smartest wrestler on the planet.
That alone is why he's great in the ring, his greatness on the mic or as an announcer is the subject of an 8 page long thread of people just posting quotes from him that's managed to survive for like 2 months.

so he can wrestle long matches, i never said he couldn't. everything i said is true, as you notice i said "I DON'T LOOK FORWARD TO HIS RETURN" and "OVERRATED IF YOU ASK ME" i already know you love him, good for you. i base my opinion on what I'VE seen. i've also heard his commentary wasn't blown away, sorry, i didn't think he was really any better than corino, but thats just me. also I THINK it is pretty stupid to get your gimmick tattooed on yourself. so laugh all you want, i xpected this reply from you since you work for roh or whatever.

You said, "I don't see why he's so great" I listed the reasons why he's great. And he didn't get his "gimmick" tattooed on himself, he IS straight edge in real life and he took that as part of his gimmick eventually. Are you high right now?

how do you know what he does in real life, do you live with him?? so he had the tattoo before he started wrestling?? i still think it's a stupid tattoo. he's straight edge, good for him, i drink but i'm not gonna get that tattooed on me. like i said i base my opinion on what i've seen, i haven't seen those matches, if after seeing him i think he's as great as other people i'll have no problem admiting it. to be honest i'm not in any hurry to see cm punk wrestle a 60-70 minute match, but thats just me

Yes, you're right. He just made it up. He just got it tattooed on himself for fun...no, it was for his "gimmick"....that only popped up after he had the tattoos and all. That's why he's got DRUG FREE tattooed on his knuckles...even though he tapes his fists. Keep those fantasies coming! Lol.

At the Impact Taping , backstage A.J Styles and Kid Kash got Into a heated arguement. Styles felt Kash was shooting on hims during a promo before thier Match on the show. The 2 did drop things long enough to give a good Match. The 2 have a history of not getting along.
Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantell pushed for the return of Nuevo Gran Apollo . He was one of the 1st big guys used during TNA's early days on weekly PPV's for those who didn't know.
Jerelle Clark has some heat backstage It appears. He's trying to get In all his moves and Is very vocal for being an enhancement talent. To teach him a small lesson a few weeks back Frankie Kazarian and Micheal Shane worked a bit stiff against him.
It didn't seem to work at all. Its unknown how long Clark will last In TNA due to this. I can't see guys taking It.
TNA and FSN have annouced that TNA Impact will now air In the Middle East , Malaysia , and Europe . This will allow TNA to hit 26 forgien countries . Thats pretty f-ckin awesome. TNA Is slowly becoming a world wide presence.
FSN and Tom Arnold have parted ways. FSN Is unhappy with Best Damn Sports Show Period and has tried retooling It with dropping the host. Arnold Is a huge wresrtling fan and pushed for TNA to be on the show to begin with.
I doubt Arnold's leaving over his 1 million dollar a year salary will bother FSN and TNA's relationship. TNA's pretty much pulling the best ratings the regional networks of FSN have seen In a long while. Plus this new deal to sair TNA Impact In Forgien Markets seems to show FSN believes In TNA more and more !

Ok heres some spoilers and news for NWA-TNA's Destination X PPV tonight.
Alex Shelley was granted his release over the weekend and both sides split pretty nice. TNA has said they bring Shelley back down the line but for now are gonna work with what they have.
TNA will not be airing a Special on FSN over the weekend at Wrestlemania 21. Talks are still going on as Jarrett Is In LA talking over the primetime special that was being talked about.
The Bound For Glory PPV name will resurface In September at that months PPV. TNA plans to make Bound For Glory thier version of Wrestlemania and plan to pull everything out for It. We'll see how It goes.
Ok news and notes from TNA: Destination X !!
PPV Pre-Show
Chris Candido & Andy Douglas vs Buck Quartermain & Lex Lovett
Candido and Douglas win.
Kid Kash & Lance Hoyt ( aka Dallas) vs Cassidy Riley & Jerrelle Clark
No love for Clark In this as he gets a complete ass kicking as I'm reading this. He gets beaten pretty solid. That'll teach em a lesson I suppose. They could always have Abyss plant him In thumbtacks to further the lesson.
PPV Time !!
AMW & B.G James / Konnan vs Team Canada :
Least thier buildin Team Canada as a heel stable. They win this one In a shock. Can't believe the AMW Gods lost.
Johnny Fairplay Is back and he tells Dusty he still wants a shot as his assitant. Dusty tells him to sign 2 guys to deals. I'm betting he signs Richard Hatch and Susan Hawk personally. Hatch can come down and shake himself naked and win and Hawk can smash beer cans against her head.
Chase Stevens vs Chris Sabin
It appears TNA Is now pushing The Naturals. WQell hell..they were stabbed a few months back. There has to be some heel heat there. Thier allied with Chris Candido so...makes sense. Sabin wins. They lay a beat down on him as a masked luchadore saves him. The guy I'm readin this must be as bad a joker as me as he says It looks like the guy Shocker from Big Mac commercials.
Phi Beta Slam vs DOD ( hARRIS bOYS ): tRINITY MANAGES th2 fat guys of Phi-Beta Slam and Traci manages The Harris Boys. At this point fans have to wonder how many gimmicks will the Harris Boys get by the end. I'm sure thier gaining on levels here. They win because the World demanded we see the Harris Boys get yet another push!
Raven vs Dustin Rhodes: Bullrope Match
Of course ya know how this turns out. Dustin Is Dusty's son. So he's gonna win this of course. Ya know...Raven's deal does run out In June and he could as Corino hinted on that Radio Interview..be given a serious look by the WWE.
Because lets face It. Raven maybe past 40 but the man Is a damn genuis Wrestling wise. His promos are good. Lets see what happens. But him jobbin to Dustin Rhodes ? Jesus....
Monty Brown vs Tryton
Tryon Is 6 Inches taller than Monty and all. This lasted 6 minutes and as Monty goes to nail him with the Pounce , the lights go out. In the ring some dude with a mask takes the Pounce and gets pinned Instead!
Teney says Tryton was scared of the pounce and didn't want to be hit with It. Ya know...If someone went to hit me with It , I'd rather take It than a spear at this point.
Abyss vs Jeff Hardy: Falls Count Anywhere!
Usual hardcore brawling Hardy's work Is horrible and If he's Improved at this PPV I'll be shocked. He wins this but Abyss makes him pay by dumpin his ass on thumbtacks after It.
The Outalw vs Kevin Nash : 1st Blood
Good Match as I'm reading this. Both guys try to bust each other open. The Outlaw meanwhile takes the corner pad off the ropes and Nash nails him. Busting him open as the ref gets bumped.
Jarrett comes down as he busts Nash open using the NWA World Title. Ref gets revived by the doctor as he see's Nash 1st and calls for the bell. Nash Is PISSED.....He walks over and Jackhammers Billy Gunn for the hell of It!
Ultimate X Match !! Ron Killins & Christopher Daniels vs A.J Styles & Elix Skipper
The rules for this comes In 3 stages. Whoever gets pinned In this Tag Match ..thus makes It a 3 way dance. Ron Killins gets pinned by Skipper.
Ultimate X Match 2# Elix Skipper vs A.J Styles vs Christopher Daniels
Man reading this does It no justice...damn. Skipper nails A.J Styles with a Sudden Death but Daniels scores the pin on Elix !!
Ultimate X Match 3# Christopher Daniels vs A.J Styles
The Belt Is up In the air as as the 2 battle. A.J's still woozy as at the end they battle to get the belt. A.J falls with It but Daniels nails him with a pedigree type move and as the Ref stands he see's Daniels with the X Division Title!! Winner and New Champion...The Fallen Angel!!
Hell yeah...I like A.J but he needs to be In the Main Events now. Daniels deserves a good Title run.
NWA World Title Match : DDP vs Jeff Jarrett : Ringside Revenge!
This has everyone around the ring as not lumberjacks but as body gaurds so Jarrett can't get help from the back. Usual fight happens with guys around ringside. Outl;aw and Syxx-Pac try to get Involved. More crazyness at the end as Jarrett's attorney steps Into the ring as DDP diamond cuts everyone!
Then Monty Brown gets In there as DDP waits on Monty to Pounce Jarrett or the Attorney. But Monty pounccess Page Instead helping Jeff Jarrett retain. The 2 hug as I'm sure fans felt betrayed.
Ok I can deal with logic here and Dusty Rhodes stupied ass booking for awhile. But this escapes me. What Is the thought process on turning popular face , Monty Brown heel ? Is this to ego f-ck people , Dusty ?
I like Page. Hell the man Is an over guy and fans are hot for him as the crowd always cheer him the loudest. But damn It man....Monty Brown was someone gaining to the fans. Even though I have no Idea why ! This ranks up there as an ego move by this company.
You job Raven to your son. Turn your young upcoming face heel and for what ? This Is further evidence that Shane Douglas should be the backstage booker of this promotion. Last I saw he doesn't have any kids or buddies he can please back there.

Interesting interview from AJ Styles at nodqforums.com
AJ says that the backbone of NWA-TNA is the X-Division, and if it wasn't for the X-Division, TNA wouldn't be around anymore. He also says that his favorite X-Division match in TNA has to be the match against Chris Daniels last month, in the iron man match.
AJ then says "I'm not sure if I should be saying this, I'm not sure whose watching but, maybe I should apologize for the pay-per-view (Destination-X Tonight) but for the X-Division Ultimate X. Match, it's worth your $29.99" "I'm sorry for the rest of the stuff but, the Ultimate X match will be good." Says AJ Styles. Jeff Meachem (Host) then makes a joke saying "but theres a quality world title match, what are you talking about?" AJ Responds, "He said that, not me".

The World Title Match sounds decent In the reviews I read. Page worked hard as did Jarrett. Its the end that pretty much Is stupied. Monty was thier young growing face and fans were getting behind him.
Then they turn him heel with really no to little warning.

Whoopee-doo , what a shocker , Jeff Jarrett retains ....again. Even AJ Styles knows better and he's one of their best in ring talent.
TNA ? I think they can change their name to the old WCW , where has-been reigns at the top and young crusierweight talents are the only ones keeping fans watching. And people think WWE is bad ??
Jamal
03-16-2005, 05:58 PM
WWE still sucks more, On thing decent about Raw was Marty Jannetty's Rocker Dropper. Snitkey's Roid acne mad me sick to my stomach and Randy's RKO on a broken down Jake The Snake had me shaking my head.
Back to TNA..
I thought it was a solid PPV ( about a 7 out of 10 ). Most of the matchs were good.
Phi Deta Slam losing keep Trinty as their manager.
The AMW/3LK vs. Team Canada was a set up for the next angle. As was the Sabin vs. Stevens match.
I could have done without the Raven/Dustin match and Jeff Hardy taking a BHS on thumb-tacks made the match worth watching an all spot match.
Monty Brown/Triton Match should have been on Impact. Nash/Outlaw match was good till the blood problem.
Ultimate X 4@ a half stars; everyone worked their asses off and Daniels hitting a moonsault off of the top ( Yes the top ) of the X incredible. I would of liked a cleaner ending but again it pushes the angle, now the that Daniels turned on Primetime.
Jarrett vs. DDP was another good match but Jarrett needs to lose the title. I know that people are mad because of Monty's heel turn but there are too many Faces in the heavy weights and these leaves him time to get better in stead of pushing him to world title.

My $30 was well spent; will everyone feel the same about WM?
HBK vs Angle
Rey vs Eddie
Chavo vs London
Those three matches alone will likely top any TNA PPV, if you want great wrestling. When you're own star is apologizing for the PPV lineup you've got problems. I'll check out the X-Division match from this one and skim through and see if anything else is worth it.
Jamal
03-17-2005, 11:02 AM
Eddie vs. Rey: Seen it on Smackdown twice already, great match but TNA has had matches equal and/or better on every PPV.
Chavo vs. London: Is that a Sunday Night Heat match? Both are great wrestler but will this match hold up against the Daniel vs. AJ match from the last TNA PPV? I think not.
The only one I'll give you is the Angle vs. HBK match; I think both of those guy's are going to work their butts off and they will be the only reason to look at WM, that's is if there are no screw job finishes, which I can see happening. Will the fans get cheated again you tell me after the show?
As for AJ, apologizing for the lineup is a slap in the face to the wrestlers. It all about the work not the lineup; there has been a lot of great matches coming out of weird match-up and that's from any company. As a wrestle he should know better; look at his matches with Abyss, weird lineup that worked. Whatever his opinion about the lineup the PPV was still good, I really hope that WM turns out to be better than I think so I can say something good about the WWE for once.
Leslie Lee III
03-17-2005, 11:22 AM
Styles vs Daniels was 1 good match on the PPV, as is usually the case with TNA. 3 near guaranteed good pure wrestling matches matches (even though you seem to not recognize with how damn good London is, better than AJ), is more than I've seen from TNA ever.
I think a lot of the guys at TNA deserve to be slapped in the face by AJ. He has to go out there and be a spot monkey so that Kevin Nash can continue to collect paychecks for sleepwalking through matches, and so that Jarrett can continue pretending that he's a main eventer. I just hope rumors of him and Daniels returning to ROH hold true and we get to see them shine and wrestle like they really want to.
Jamal

Yea London "Was" better than "AJ" till he signed with WWE. Now that he has to wrestle the WWE brand style he has become a former shell of what he once was and I can't think of a WWE match he's had so far that proves otherwise. Hopefully his match with Chavo let's him show his stuff.
AJ as great of a wrestler he is has always been a spot monkey and Nash wrestled Billy Gunn to a decent match even if I couldn't have care less.

London's had tons of great matches in WWE with great guys like Ultimo Dragon, Akio, and Shannon Moore. What's so great about him is that even with less time and sometimes against less talented wrestlers he still puts on top notch matches. He's proven he can adapt and shine in any environment. AJ's had a number of good, non-spotfest wrestling matches, just usually in IWA:MS or ROH. I think having to wrestle the TNA style has done more harm to AJ than the WWE style does to London. I thought TNA was going in the right direction with the Iron Man match b/t him and Daniels. Then it went back to the spotfests, now it's going back to AJ being having to do some bumps for the slugs at the top. Although X-Pac has guaranteed that the match won't be a clusterf*ck, we'll see. Hah.
Jamal
03-17-2005, 05:38 PM
How can that be when TNA doesn't have a style yet. Only the X Division has a lot of spots but AJ has wrestle the same in every Division in TNA so how is it a company style and not just his. London may have had so great matches but you can't say that he is wrestling the same as when he was an independent. But I'm sure AJ wouldn't look as good in the WWE style either and X-Pac has always sucked so no good matches will come from anyone he wrestles.
