I guess I didn't know what to expect from this show, but I was pleasantly surprised! First off, Lori Loughlin (10 years after playing Rebecca on Full House) still looks beautiful! The other leads also seem well-cast, and their characters interesting. The premise seems to me to be a dramatic Friends with kids.

My only complaint might be that the alcohol angle seemed almost too much to handle (on top of everything else) for a series premiere. Seems like another solid Spelling show and a nice fit with the WB's other non-traditional family hit, Gilmore Girls, on Tuesdays. If it stays strong, I could see it taking over for 7th Heaven eventually.

All in all, I'm glad I caught the special Sunday airing. Anyone else see this show yet and have something to say?

I saw it last week and I didn't think much of it.

I guess Smallvile is still the only show I'll be following on the WB.

I watched the premiere last week, and I liked it.

Liked it enough that I watched the repeat of the premiere on Sunday.

I'll have an item in my column tomorrow about the show.

I'm a sucker for these types of shows and I was expecting, based on past exposure to Lori Loughlin, to not like it. But I was really surprised at how well she pulled off her role. I'll be back tomorrow for the second episode.

The new episode last night was decent but you could see all the plot twists coming even if you hadn't seen the previews the week before.

Has anyone else been watching all season?

For the most part I liked it and look forward to next season. Not sure which direction the relationships will go, but as I said before, this is just the type of show I like.

Yep, I watched all season long. It's decent, nothing groundbreaking, but good enough to keep watching when it comes back at midseason.

According to reports online that I saw through Yahoo, it appears that Summerland is headed towards the scrap heap. The WB comes out with their new schedule next week, and the Lori Loughlin family drama hasn't made the cut.

I can't work up much outrage about this. I liked the first season, but the spring season flat out sucked.

Didn't even bother watching the spring season (mainly because I just forgot it was on), but the first season was good.

And isn't Loughlin moving onto another series anyway? As good a reason as any to cancel this one, I guess......

I haven't seen anything about Loughlin moving on. There are more episodes in the can that were/are planned for the summer so I don't know what The WB is planning.

I thought I'd read about some other project with Loughlin being involved......could be wrong...

Maybe if they'd kept Summerland as.....oh, I dunno.....a summer series, it could've survived and lived a little longer...

The WB begins burning off the last of the original episodes of Summerland tonight (June 13th) at 9 p.m.

As for me, I thought the spring season was terrible, and I'll be watching The Closer on TNT instead.

The N? What network is that?

That's the name of the network.

It's basically a kids network during the day and a teen-tween network during the night.

They air Degrassi: The Next Generation.
